VALUABLE BREIGH - This filly has posted some nice finishing positions in her last several tries. Strong gains over time for this jock and handler combo. VITAEMI - She should have a strong showing versus this softer bunch. This pony has some longshot handicapping angles going for her.

FIELDSTONE - As long as Villegas keeps this pony off the pace, I have to believe this one could be a huge winner. Don't throw this one out due to his last affair at Delaware Park where he ended up ninth on the soft turf. Expect better today. This horse's last race was out at Delaware Park in a race with an Equibase class figure of 86. Dropping a significant amount in Equibase class figure in today's event puts him in a solid position in this race. MOON WARRIOR - Faced tougher last time around the track at Penn National. Based on Equibase class ratings, this is a weaker group, so I will put this animal on my list of strong contenders.

KAZ SWEET HEIST - Nice race on October 25th at Penn National, but the fact that there are no workouts since has to make one a little worried. STEELE MONEY - Don't think this racer is worth 5/1 in this race. WONDER WATER - This questionable contender didn't go to the lead and didn't make up ground down the stretch last time he ran. Unlikely that the rating he registered on Oct 14th will be enough in this event.

I advise you stay with this strong gelding. Past Performances show this thoroughbred with three improving speed figs. Yaranga should be on a live one in this race. SMASH - Don't often see a beneficial ROI like +106. This jock/handler twosome has done well together over the last twelve months. Sub-par effort in the last race at Mahoning Valley Race Cour was due to the off-going (he ended up fifth). Should do much better today without the slop. CAMP PENDLETON - Has found a great spot today.

C V DYNAMIC - Batista comes to race after getting to know the gelding in the last event. Outran his odds in his initial start. Look for another strong effort today. Batista and Donjuan perform well when they team up. Hard to top a win percentage of 33. This gelding is in top form right now. Ran second last race out and comes back promptly. ONE STEP ASIDE - Ran a lackluster race at Mahoning Valley Race Cour last time around the track. Racing under normal track conditions puts this gelding at the top of my contenders roll call. You always have to be on the lookout for revenue generating jockey/handler combinations; we have one right here.

Vulnerable Contenders: #7 AFTER SUNRISE (ML=3/1), #5 HEZA PISTOL (ML=7/2), #3 LUST FOR LIFE (ML=9/2),

AFTER SUNRISE - I find it hard to bet on any questionable contender in a sprint race if he hasn't finished in the money in a sprint in the last couple of months. This mount ran a mediocre fig in the last race. He shouldn't run much better and will likely lose in today's event running that figure. HEZA PISTOL - Morning line odds of 7/2 make this mount a pass by my standards. LUST FOR LIFE - Trying to beat this thoroughbred this time out at the value of 9/2.

Nice return on investment for this rider and trainer duo. This horse coming off a good contest in the last thirty days is a solid contender in my book. Look at this pattern of improvement. 62/72/77 are the last 3 speed figures. I think this mare is ready to run a good one. She's had enough races around the track since the layoff and should be fit. GOSHEN - The jockey/trainer twosome of Correa and Esquivel has a strong return on investment together. You have to like that most recent race speed figure, 83, which is the top last race speed rating of this field.

Vulnerable Contenders: #3 SET THE PACE (ML=5/2), #4 SHE DAZZLE (ML=7/2), #7 EVERYOTHERWON (ML=8/1),

SET THE PACE - This mare hasn't had any strong finishes in sprint races in the last two months. SHE DAZZLE - The speed rating last out doesn't fit very well in this affair when I look at the Equibase class figure of today's event. Mark this animal as a likely underpriced contender. EVERYOTHERWON - When looking at today's class figure, she will have to register a much better rating than last out to vie in this dirt sprint.
