WORSE READ SANCHEZ - In my opinion, you need 'class' to be successful on the turf. This one has the highest average class figure in the field. Comparing how the horses in this field have fared under similar conditions, I see this thoroughbred has the highest speed rating for the distance/surface. I just may give this one a fair chance. Should improve off last race where he did run out of the money, but was within five lengths at the finish line. DISCRETIONARY DAY - Bonde has this gelding entered in the perfect race.

THIRTY FOUR COUPE - Tough to put your dough on the win end of any horse that finishes second and third as frequently as this entrant does. LUKA GRAZIE - The speed fig last out doesn't fit very well in this affair when I look at the class rating of today's race. Mark this thoroughbred as a possibly overvalued equine.

ONE VIOLENT AFFAIR - This horse could be tough this race, especially since Sosa rode last time out and now should be better acquainted with this one. The December 13th event at Tampa Bay Downs was at a class level of (73). Dropping down the ladder based on class significantly, so she should be in a good spot. Maiden is going over to the main track, and may not have liked the turf last out. Has a good chance to break maiden.

Vulnerable Contenders: #1 MISS UNCONCERNED (ML=5/2), #5 TABOR TIME (ML=7/2), #4 UNIFIEDS PRINCESS (ML=5/1),

MISS UNCONCERNED - Can't really back the public's top choice when she has multiple failures as the public's top choice. This less than sharp equine ran a run-of-the-mill speed figure last race out. She shouldn't run much better and will probably suffer defeat in today's race running that figure. TABOR TIME - Hasn't finished in the money in any sprint events recently. Really keen on the likelihood of TSS HOT HOUSE taking down the winner's share in here. Has nice speed figs and clearly has to be thought of for a wager today. Recent ratings for the driver - 21 percent win - make this mare a clear choice in the race. Plano knows this horse well. Terrific in the money results when in the sulky. SPARKPLUG SPARKY - This fine animal looks strong. Take a good look at the 67 average speed fig. A really good class horse can't be overlooked. With an average class rating of 68 all signs point to yes. ICONIC IMAGE - Tremblay has been very proficient at moving his fine animals up in class. We can't pass on this filly given one of the best driver-trainer figures around.
