Analysis: Big number to lay and the books are making it tempting for those inclined to side with the visiting Bears but I'm ju”st not buying into it. The wind went out of this Bears squad in my opinion for good last sunday when they fell out home to their arch rivals, the Packers. This Ravens team has shown they can pound bad teams mercilessly and right now the Bears are exactly that, a bad football team. The poor Bears have been in a free fall since their bye going a lousy 2-7, in that brutal season killing run they are an inept 0-4 when performing as a road dog. and they have allowed opponents to ground out almost 150 yards per outing on the ground. That does not bode well against a Ravens team that just chewed up the Lions for a massive 308 yards last sunday on this field. Morale is at a real low in the windy city and I feel the only way the Bears finish this thing within the number would be courtesy of several turnovers by the Ravens and the fact is it's Cutler and the Bears offense that is more inclined to turn the ball over. Cutler gets a ton of the blame and surely he has made a ton of terrible decisions this season with the ball but the stubborn fact is that the Bears wide outs are not a particularly talented group that makes it easy on Cutler. Also, NFC north teams playing as road dogs are a pathetic 1-7 against the number when dealing with non divisional foes. None of this makes my want to consider Chicago even with the double digit number. I'll take the Ravens at home here to continue kicking dirt on the Bears grave, Triple Star Release on the Ravens -11 guys!!

Analysis: I went with the Bills last sunday and they cashed for us against the Chiefs at Arrowhead but I am going to have to flip here and take the Patriots to rebound with a big effort. Much has been made of the whole deal with Randy Moss and certainly he has reverted to some old bad habits. Some things never seem to change. However I feel the Patriots as an overall team has too much pride to go down easily. The Pa”triots have now shockingly dropped 3 of their last 5 games and now are in dire need of a big performance. I don't know just how big the performance will be but this is a pretty short number in my view against a Bills team that really struggles to put points on the board. The Bills defense will likely put up a game fight as usual but I'll take Brady and company to put in a solid, workmanlike effort here and get us the victory and cover.

Analysis: Another big number here and especially for a home team, however I will make an exception to the rule and lay the points with the Texans against a Rams team that has pretty much zero heart and has packed it in from what I have observed. The Rams are literally limping into this game with a ton of injuries and now have even had to contend with a flu situation that swept through the locker room this week. This cou”ld get real ugly guys. Pretty much zero faith in the Rams offense in this point and even their primary weapon Stephen Jackson is not 100%, who should be surprised with the pounding he has endured this season. This should be all Texans from start to finish. The Rams secondary will get lit up in this one. Double Star Release on Houston minus the 14.
