LA v. Phoenix 8:30pm
OK so the East is set with Boston waiting to play the winner of this series. The Lakers are up 3-2 in this series and looking to meet their long times rivals in the East for the Finals. The Suns are a 1.5 point favorite here. This line just seems strange since the Suns dominate the Lakers when they are home. We just think that the Suns come up short tonight in this game and the series ends with the Lakers taking it. We also think that this game will be a close one and will go with the OVER.
PICK: Lakers +1.5 Game (9*) Best bet of the day
PICK: OVER 215.5 Game (7*)
WNBA – 651 New York Liberty @ 652 San Antonio Silver Stars
*SINGLE Dime Play*
In my opinion we are getting some good value with the Over in this contest. The league already knows the style of playing of Tulsa and their full court pressure defense is easily dismantled by knocking down shots from the perimeter like the Mercury did in the last game.
However Tulsa is more comfortable as well with their system. After dishing out 16 assists in the first two games of the season they dished 24 and 25 assists in the last 2 games. They also scored more points in the paint and fast break points and their offensive progression is obvious.
On the other side Indiana bounced back after a 0-2 hole to start the season by defeating the Sky in consecutive games. They had huge problems early on the season because of the overseas commitments from their best players but right now they look fine and ready to face the Shock. Against Chicago they shot 5-15 and 8-18 behind the arc and 23 fast break points. This sample is good for us because they will have plenty of opportunities to score via this way.
My projected line is 159/162 points and I’m taking the Over as my Single Dime Play.

2-Unit Play. Take #912. Take Colorado Rockies -125 over Los Angeles Dodgers (Saturday @ 8:10pm est).
I like the fact the Rockies fell short 4-5 yesterday and they will look to bounce-back at home behind Aaron Cook. Aaron has good stuff and although he has a 5.33 era, it is deceiving to what he is really capable of and what he has done of late. Yes, he had a rough outing at Kansas City giving up four runs in just a little over four innings in his last start, but the Rockies still manage to win that game. More importantly, prior to that start, he had given up just four runs in 13 innings against the likes of the Phillies at home and the Cubs on the road. Also note that Hiroki picked up a no-decision his last time against the Rockies as the Dodgers went on to win that game 6-5 as he gave up 9 hits in just over five innings of work - and five walks to boot. I suspect that he does not get as lucky this time and I look for the Rockies to have success against him at home. They do face him for the second time this year, and of course, they do come off a loss yesterday and therefore try to bounce-back. Hiroki is a good pitcher and he has put together continuous quality starts, but he is just 4-10 as an Underdog as Vegas typically knows what it is doing placing him as a dog. On top of that, the Rockies are 5-0 in Cook's last five ballgames at home as well as 6-1 when Cook faces a winning team at home as he pitches well against quality teams at Coors.
