Tim Hudson has been impeccable all season for the Braves. He's been amazingly consistent and has basically not had a bad start all year. Mark Buehrle has not been quite as steady for the White Sox, but he's been better lately. And it's important to note that Buehrle is now the all-time wins leader in interleague play. The White Sox are a good value here, as they're at home and they're on a seven-game winning streak. At this price, even against the stingy Hudson, it's the White Sox that are my choice to win the money.Comment

Ben lee won on Tuesday with the Mariners Pk/Cubs.
For Wednesday "Mr Chalk" is going for two a "Pure Chalk" play on the Nationals -$240/Royals and once again the Mariners -$170/Cubs.
"Mr Chalk" is 46-33 -$400 for the 2010 MLB season.

Analysis:
Washington -1.5 runs (-119)
Brian Bannister for KC has been lit up like a Christmas Tree in his last 2 starts against Atlanta and Cincy, and in his last 3 games has a 10.05 ERA. Rookie sensation Scott Strasburg should eat up an inconsistent offense of KC, who on this road trip have lost 2 close ones, but Bannister will allow the Nats to put runners in scoring position and light up the scoreboard. KC cannot close a game, and while both bullpens are in excellent form, the Nats should get up early and then close it out. Strasburg has a WHIP of 0.78 and an ERA of 1.86, and KC is hardly intimidating. Strasburg is not a flash in the pan, he is the real deal, and has given up only 10 hits in 3 games and 19 innings pitched, unreal. That was against better teams I might add.

Analysis: The Dodgers are mired in a slump right now and have to be reeling some after last nights melt down against this Angels club. Joe Torre's team was set on cruise control with a 3-0 lead late and Clayton Kershaw looking basically untouchable. Then before you knew it all hell was breaking loose and the Angels bounced back and prevailed extending the Dodgers recent skid.
Tonight the Angels give the ball to Joel Pineiro who has a 3-0, 2.67 mark against the Dodgers in four career starts. In his last start he surrendered a lone run in working eight frames in a 5-1 victory over the Brewers. He has prevailed now in 3 straight starts and when his sinker is working can be as tough as they come.
Plus the stubborn fact is the Dodgers have now dropped five straight games and are turning to a young pitcher coming off a rough outing. His last time out John Ely was bombed for seven runs in just a little over four frames of work in a 7-1 loss to the Reds. He is 0-3, 4.97 in his last five starts. This is a big start for Ely and frankly I don't like his draw here with the way the Angels are playing and Pineiro is dealing. A baseball season is one of streaks, both good and bad. Our chances here are much greater tonight in my view playing the hotter hand and that is clearly Pineiro and the Angels guys. Triple Star on the Angels.Comment
