Note: It's a homecoming for the WhiteSox Starter today as he hails from Austin Texas but I don't think that it will be a happy one. The Rangers who started on the DL this year, has pitched just 6 games, and is fresh. That is important this time of the yea…r and what also is important is the fact that Texas has won all 6 times he has taken to the Hill. This 24 year old is way beyond his years and he does have great stuff. What he does best is not allow the longball and that is important stuff at this Hitter's Venue. Danks has had less than average success verses these Rangers and much less than average success on the road this year and in past years. Like most throwers during late June he showed some sighs of fatigue in his last outing as he was in a lot of high pitch counts and left after 5 innings with 97 throws. That is about what he is good for. Due to a Huge and Easy win by Texas, Hunter just had to throw 86 times in his last outing through 6 innings so he should have all of his capacity for this one tonight. Texas has been getting outstanding workfrom their Pen, as they have an ERA Under 2 runs over the last 12 games. This park is where they play best with one of the very best records this year in either league, and for a very long time. The fact is they are 21-7 their last 28 here but dropped one last night as Garcia put forth a good effort for the Sox. I think that it is back to business as usual for Texas tonight and as an added bonus, they have hit lefties at over .360 in their last 13 contests. I do think they will score runs tonight and I don't think they will need many to win. My MLB Model agrees saying Texas wins tonight at 64.9% of the time. That's strong enough for a larger play than normal. This line is going to go up so get it now..
