                          Marlins at Giants
                          Pick: Giants -125

San Francisco's left-hander Barry Zito (8-5, 3.45), is 1-1 with a 1.80 ERA in his last three outings. The 2002 AL Cy Young winner went seven innings in a 3-2 victory at Florida on May 5, allowing one run and seven hits. Zito has a 0.80 ERA while winning his last five starts against the Marlins. Last year's NL batting champ Hanley Ramirez, who has no extra-base hits in his last 18 games, is 1 for 13 lifetime against Zito. San Francisco has won two of three in each of Florida's last four visits to AT&T Park. Give the Giants the check mark.

                            Matchup: Cincinnati at Milwaukee
                            Time: 8:10 PM EDT (Mon)
Listed pitchers must go: (R) ARROYO, B vs. (L) WOLF, R

                            Play: Cincinnati (ML +105)

The Brewers enjoyed a good weekend at home against the Nationals, but the competition gets more difficult tonight as the Reds roll into town. Cincinnati got shut down on Sunday by a hot Wandy Rodriguez, but they're likely to find the going much easier against Randy Wolf. The Milwaukee lefty does own some great lifetime stats against the Reds, but he's struggling badly right now. Wolf is strictly a soft-tosser at this point and he's also suffering from some real issues with his control. Bronson Arroyo has solid numbers against this opponent, he's done well at Miller Park and he's got the better team behind him. The Reds might even get Scott Rolen back for this game, but regardless, Cincy is the choice at the price.

                            -----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Matchup: Seattle at Chi. White Sox
                            Time: 8:10 PM EDT (Mon)
Listed pitchers must go: (R) HERNANDEZ, F vs. (L) DANKS, J

                            Play: Seattle (ML +120)

This is a lost season for the Mariners, but at least there are some signs of life in the team right now. They came on to capture back to back come from behind wins against the Red Sox this weekend. Weird as it seems, the Chone Figgins incident may have gotten this team a little more focused and that bodes well for them as they send their ace to the hill tonight. This is not an easy call by any means as the White Sox are the better team, they're at home, and they have a lot more to play for. Plus, John Danks is not exactly a pushover and the Mariners are rotten against lefties. But Felix Hernandez is pitching and all King Felix has done lately is string together 13 of 14 quality starts. Runs will be tough to come by for both sides tonight, but with their stud throwing, a little positive momentum and plus money on their side, I like the Mariners to score the mild upset tonight.
