Greg Shaker | MLB Money Line Wed, 08/18/10 - 7:05 PM

        triple-dime bet 908 PHI (-106) Bookmaker.com vs 907 SFG
        Analysis:
MLB: San Francisco Giants at Philadelphia Phillies - Phillies (Cain/Blanton)(Best Bet) -106 | Unit Value: 3
        Game Date: 8/18/2010
Note: There are a lot of handicappers who spend most of their time handicapping the starting pitcher and those that do this certainly are on the Giants tonight. But that is not the way to win effectively and especially at this time of the season. actually though the Giants starter tonight has not had good luck throwing at these Phillies anyway with 4 starts and an ERA topping 7 runs. The Giants are not performing well in a lot of areas right now and one of those is the starting pitching which has been failing them at lot over the last 13 played. Meanwhile Philly is at the top of their game right now and while they have been doing it without Utley and Howard, they did get Utley back yesterday. This team has won 19 of 26 an they have their eyes set on catching the Braves They have been about as good as it gets right here at Citizen's Park with a mark of 37-19. The Giants are right at the .500 level in 60 road contests with last night's loss have now dropped 5 of 6 road games. I don't know how good Blanton will throw tonight but I do know that the Phillie Bats are hot and especially against righthanded throwers. With Utley back that can only get better. It will not be often that we get a team as hot as Philly is, a team as good as they are here at this park, at a price such as this. My MLB Model is not always right but tonight it says the Phillies win this one at only 47% of the time. It does not however take into account what we all know is going on right now. I like this situation and I will play it harder than usual.

          triple-dime bet 911 NYM (+100) BetUS vs 912 HOU
Analysis: Stan is Betting NY METS today. Stan notes that the public will be all over Houston tonight because the Mets lost with Santana last night. If the Mets couldn't win with Santana how can they be expected to win tonight. Dickey is coming off his best game of the year and is facing the Astros for the 1st time which gives him a huge edge. Look for the Mets to send Myers to the showers early.

TAKE THE METS as STAN'S RARE TRIPLE DIME GAME
