On Friday the Free MLB play is under the 8 run total in the SD at Milwaukee game. Rotation numbers 909/910 at 8:10 eastern. This game fits a nice totals system that has gone under 13 of 16 times. What we want to do is play the under when we have a home team with a total of 8 or less, off a road win, if they are taking on an opponent off a road favored win and scored 5 or more runs. These games have averaged just a shade over 6 runs per game over the years. The Pitching matchup suggests an over as well. The Brewers have Y. Gallardo on the mound tonight and he has compiled a fine 2.97 era this year. SD counters with W. Leblanc tonight. Leblanc pitched real well in his only start here going 6+ innings without allowing a run. Leblanc is one of the more underrated starters in the league as well. The Padres also have a solid 3.13 road bullpen era. Look for this one to go under the total tonight. On Friday I have the AL Game of the Month. This big Beauty is backed with a 100% 15-0 system that wins by nearly 4 runs per game. I also have a 17-3 NL Dominator system and a 90% NFLX play on the card. This one is following the OU pattern of last night's Patriots / Falcons game. And just like we said in last night's writeup:

This will be Cincinnati’s 3rd game of the 2010 pre-season. But for the Eagles, it’s actually Game #2 (Cincy gets an extra game as they start the year with a Hall-of-Fame date with the Dallas Cowboys). So with an added game under their belts, this one is the ‘tune up’ for the Bengals. And it’s the first situational System that I queried in our Playbook NFL database.

A look at this particular Day of the Week also points us in the right direction.

The 2nd pre-season game has always been an important one for Andy Reid of the Eagles. For you ATS fans, we note that Philly has gone 9-1-1 ATS in Game 2 over the last 11 seasons. They have scored 20 or more points SIX times in the last 7 years. And we note that PHILLY has gone a perfect 6-0 O/U in Games 2 and 3 of the pre-season in the last 3 years.

The clincher to this Best Bet is the fact that the Bengals have gone a perfect 5-0 O/U as pre-season favorites against a NFC opponent in the last 4 years.

Kolb deep in to the first half as he wants to see some positives out of the Birds O, the Eagles coach was majorly disappointed in the Birds Red zone offence. The Bengals will be also looking to score some points as JT Sullivan and Jordan Sullivan will put up some points with the T O show in the Mix. The Orioles have won the last five against the Rangers and Texas is simply not playing well on this current road trip (granted they are average at best on the road to begin with). Baltimore has looked great in the second half this season and this value is too good to pass up. C.J Wilson is a better pitcher than Arrieta, but scoring has been down for the Rangers and the Orioles should get a big win at home. Arrieta won this matchup a month ago as a big dog. Take Baltimore.


Philadelphia Eagles +2.5

The Eagles defense looked great in their first preseason game. The starters forced two 3-and-outs and the backups played exceptionally well. The Eagles did a great job at tackling and could be a top 5 defense if they can stay healthy this year. The Bengals have a good offense, but I am not really impressed with the backups on this team and think the Eagles will outplay them in the final two quarters. Philly will look to improve the special teams defense that looked suspect last week, although they are a good overall special teams unit and should take care of that tonight. Take the Eagles.
