The Ray’s continue to be a thorn in the side of the Yankee’s in the A.L. East. Baseballs best away team at 41-28 on the road, Tampa Bay is very comfortable when playing Boston. They have taken 11 of their 17 meetings TY, including 7 of the L9. The Ray’s have been crushing the ball. They have averaged 5.5 RPG in their L10 games. Today they send Matt Garza to the mound. He is 14-7 on the season, including a 2-0, 1.33 ERA record over his L3 starts. The RH is 9-3 lifetime against Boston. He faces a very inconsistent, injury-riddled team that has lost 7 of their L10 outings. The Red Sox are all but done this for the season. The team has Tim Wakefield at the bump.
