Take the points with the underdog Jags on the road over the Colts.



Jacksonville was built to beat the Colts. The Jags pound it with the running game on offense and it’s led to some memorable upsets of Indy.



I expect more of the same today.



The Jaguars are on a 5-1 SU run and are averaging 193.0 rushing yards per game during that span. Maurice Jones-Drew is second in the NFL in rushing yards and has rushed for over 100-yards in each of the last six games.



Rashad Jennings has also emerged out of the backfield for the Jags, rushing for 206 yards over the last three games.



With a two-headed monster like that I just don’t see the Colts getting past the number here.



Indy’s run defense is allowing 141.1 yards per game, which is the fourth-worst mark in the league.



The Colts may wind up getting the win here, but they aren’t going to grab the cash.

Jets-Steelers UNDER



Take the under in today’s big AFC battle between the Jets and Steelers.



I honestly don’t see how this game is going to approach the posted total. Both teams are struggling mightily on offense right now and both have top-ranked defenses.



The Steelers have scored just one offensive touchdown in their last 11 quarters of play.



The Jets offense has been held out of the endzone in their last two games.



Pittsburgh has won four straight games and is allowing just 9.0 points per game during the streak.



Mark Sanchez has struggled recently, throwing four interceptions and no touchdowns in his last two games. You know Steelers defensive coordinator Dick LeBeau is going to have some exotic packages for the slumping Sanchez, so don’t expect a lot out of the Jets offense today.



It’s not like the Jets can lean on the ground game to take the pressure off Sanchez either, because the Steelers are stopping the run at a record pace this season. Pittsburgh is giving up just 60.1 yards per game on the ground.



This has all the makings of a 13-7 or 13-10 final.
