40 Dime baseball seleetion on the Mets as a home favorite over Oakland in interleague action. At the time I release this winner New York is a -140 favoorite across the board both here in Vegas and offshore. Note that when placing your action, you must list the Mets’ Dillon Gee and Oakland’s Josh Outman as the staoting pitchers. Both guys must start or this play is VOID!

10 Dime baseball selection on the Mets on the run line (-1½ runs) over Oakland. At the time I release this winner, New York is a +150 underdog on the run line across the board here in Vegas and off shore. Again, starting pitchers are always listed with run-line plays, so Gee and Outman must start or this play is VOID!

          Analysis: 4:10pm PT - 7:10pm ET / Los Angeles Angels w/ Santana @ Florida Marlins w/ Vazquez

          Game Two:
This one takes part down here in H-O-T South Florida. We'll be playing OVER on a pitcher that is arguably the WORST starter in all of baseball in Javier Vazquez. He comes in with an ERA of 6.85 on the year (9-4 O/U)... and a 10.66 in his last 3 starts. He made two starts vs the Halos last season... and BOTH of 'em went OVER the Total (10.38 ERA). He'll be facing Ervin Santana... who is in a dangerous and potentially 'blowing up' situation. Santana has thrown 112 or more pitches in EACH of his last 5 starts.

Behind the plate at Dolphins Stadium tonight is TONY RANDAZZO, who comes in with a 10-4 O/U record on the year... with a combined 9.5 runs per game. That includes 6-2 O/U in all NL Ballparks... and 1-0 O/U in Interleague play. Since late May, Randazzo has gone 4-1 O/U in his last 5 games... with an average of 10.8 runs per game.

15 Dime Play on Milwaukee and Zack Greinke over Tampa Bay and Jeremy Hellickson. You must specify both scheduled starters for this contest. The Brewers are currently -135 at the majority of sportsbooks I've checked.

5 Dime Play on the Minnesota Twins and Carl Pavano over San Francisco and Madison Bumgarnier. Again, both starters must be noted. The Twins are +130.

5 Dime Play on Washington and Livan Hernandez over Seattle and Doug Fister, specifying both starting pitchers. The Nats are -120 at this time.

Zack Greinke got ripped at Chicago last Thursday, allowing eight runs in 5.1 innings in a 12-8 loss to the Cubbies on a day the wind was blowing out at Wrigley. But his struggle - which resulted in the end of a personal six-game winning streak - benefits us tonight with a cheaper price with the right-hander back at home at Miller park where he's 4-0 in five starts with 42 strikeouts over 31 innings.

The Brewers are also relatively cheap because they're coming off an 8-4 loss in last night's series opener. They're still 25-10 on the year at home, winning 15 of their last 19, and they've yet to lose consecutive games in front of the home fans this season.

Tampa had provided Jeremy Hellickson with 7.53 runs of support per nine innings over his first 11 starts this season. But the Rays have been held scoreless in his last two starts.

Grienke is no stranger to the Rays, posting a 3.27 ERA in four starts against them since 2008, and that experience - plus a return to the comforts of home - makes the difference tonight.

As I wrote in backing the Twins on Saturday at home against San Diego, they're making their usual second-half charge much earlier this season. They began the month 16 1/2 games out of first in the A.L. Central. But a 14-2 run, including seven straight wins - spurred by a pitching staff that has a 2.01 ERA in June - has them just 7 1/2 games behind first-place Cleveland at the start of Tuesday's action.

Carl Pavano is back pitching like he did from this point forward last year for Minnesota. He's 2-0 with a 1.44 ERA in three June outings with a pair of complete games, includiing last Wednesday's against the White Sox when he needed just 96 pitches in the Twins' 4-1 victory.

The Giants are struggling to score - again - as they've batted .180, goine 0-for-26 with men in scoring position, and plated just seven runs while losing four in a row.

San Francisco's Madison Bumgarner is 3-8 despite a 3.21 ERA because his run support is a team-worst 2.8 runs per nine innings. Yes, he's got a 2.03 ERA in his last 10 starts, allowing three or less runs in each of them, but the law of averages says sooner or later he gets tagged after 10 straight strong starts and I feel it's tonight against a loose bunch of Twins.

Washington's Livan Hernandez had dropped six straight decisions before tossing a three-hit shutout against St. Louis last Wednesday, a game where he needed just 105 pitches to complete it. Tonight he faces a Seattle team that's on a 20-11 run. But the Mariners arrive in the nation's capital to face on of the senior circuit's hottest teams as the Nationals had won eight in a row before dropping an error-plagued game to Baltimore on Sunday.

The Nats have come alive offensively with 41 runs scored in their last six games. They're also playing well at home, winning seven of their last eight in Washington.

Seattle's Doug Fister is 3-8 despite an acceptable 3.53 ERA. But he's lost his last three starts and the Mariners are supporthng him with an average of 2.2 runs a game.

This is the first meeting between the two franchises since 2008, but Washington has won the previous six encounters.
