    Line Up Alert #2

Carlos Quentin is not in Thursday's lineup against the Twins.
He's 0-for-17 with six strikeouts in his career against Carl Pavano, so sitting him is understandable.

Mike Cameron will start in center field and bat sixth for the Marlins on Thursday night against the Astros.
Cameron fouled out in a pinch-hit appearance on Wednesday night, but this will be his first start.

Adrian Gonzalez is back in the lineup for Thursday's game against the Orioles.
A-Gone was given his first day off of the season Wednesday night.

                      BET OF THE DAY:
Game: Seattle Mariners @ Los Angeles Angels
Pick: Angles -1/2 First Five Innings
Analysis: Before I get into the analysis for this pick, I figured I would let you know that I will be in Vegas until late Monday, so I doubt that I will have enough time to write an analysis for my bet of the day each day. I will, however, still try to post my plays each day. As for tonight, Weaver takes the mound looking to continue his dominance against the Mariners. This projected Seattle lineup is hitting just .207 with 11 RBI’s in 135 at-bats against Weaver, giving him a 2.69 ERA. Weaver has a 2.06 ERA at home this season, 2.12 at night, 1.67 last month, and 1.80 versus Seattle. In the past three seasons, Weaver posted a 1.10 ERA at home versus Seattle. Fister has been strong for the Mariners lately, but tonight might change his fortune around a bit. While this projected lineup has hit just .245 against Fister, they’ve done so with power, racking up 13 RBI’s and giving Fister a 4.56 ERA in those appearances. Fister has a 3.31 ERA on the road (compared to 2.82 at home), 3.16 ERA at night (2.65 day), and was 0-3 with a 3.08 ERA last month. Over the past three seasons, he has a 4.98 ERA in away games, 4.44 ERA at night, 5.29 ERA in July, and 9.53 ERA at Angel Stadium. Look for Anaheim to be ahead by AT LEAST one run after five innings tonight, and probably more.

                          Washington (-108) for 1.5 Units

Nationals in a good spot where they're 7-1 in game 4 of a series and 17-8 at home in this 'total' range. They're also 7-1 at home against a road team with a winning % of less than .400. Veteran Hernandez is 4-1 the last 5 at home vs the Cubs. And the Nationals are 11-4 with Hernandez at home vs a team under .500. The Cubs are struggling on the road at 7-19 and are 0-4 in Garza's last 4 road starts. The Cubs' lineup should continue to struggle on the road vs righties and not give Garza the needed run support.

25 Dime baseball selection on the Twins as a road undeedog at the White Sox as these A.L. Central rivals open a four-game series. At the time I release this winner, Minnesota is a solid +140 underdog both here in Vegas and offshoore. Note that when placing your action, you must list Carl Pavano as the Twins’ starting pitcher. If Pavano doesn’t go, this play is VOID!

25 Dime baseball selection on the Mets as a road underdog at the Dodgers as these teams conclude a four-game series. At the time I releose this winner, New York is a solid +140 underdog both here in Vegas and offshore. Note that when placing your action, you must list Dillon Gee as the Mets’ starting pitcher. If Gee doesn’t go, this play is VOID!
