Sports Wagers CFL
B.C. Lions +141 over WINNIPEG
Only one winless team remains in the CFL but they are absolutely, 100% not the worst team or even the second worst team in the league. It’s just not possible for all that talent on the Lions to go winless much longer and these Blue Bombers could easily be their first victim. The Lions have had a whole season of bad breaks go against them already. They could just as easily be 3-1 or at worst 2-2 instead of 0-4, as they have been in every game. The Lions offense is producing and while their defense hasn’t been as good as expected yet, they’ll get a big shot at redemption here. Winnipeg is 3-1, which is just as amazing as the Lions being 0-4. The CFL is all about offense and the Bombers don’t have one. They’ve scored just seven TD’s all season and they simply can’t keep winning with the putrid offensive numbers they’ve put up so far. It’s also worth mentioning that the Bombers assistant head coach, Richard Harris, unexpectedly passed away this past week and every player seriously loved him. The mood this past week, and it’s a short week for Winnipeg, has been complete shock and one really has to wonder how focused this host will be. Even at their best they would be in tough here. Lions get off the mattress. Play: B.C. +141 (Risking 3 units).
