                              (467) TENNESSEE TITANS (+3.0, ov39.0)
                              (468) JACKSONVILLE JAGUARS (-3.0, un39.0)
                              Sunday, Sep 11 2011, 10:00 AM PST
The Titans have a new look with QB Matt Hassellbeck and new coach Mike Munchak. The Titans still played Jeff Fisher-style football in preseason, with a physical, pass-rushing, run-stuffing defense, and a strong running game on offense. Munchak made major changes with attitude in preseason, running a tough camp, trying to change the culture as he felt it had been too relaxed under Fisher. Munchak fashioned a Pro Football Hall of Fame career as a no-nonsense offensive lineman. The offense got good news the last week, with WR Kenny Britt playing in the final preseason game after battling a hamstring and the team signing RB Chris Johnson. The Titans are 11-3 ATS in their last 14 games in September. The Jaguars also play a physical style for hard driving Jack Del Rio. The offense is more ball control with RB Jones Drew and QB David Garrard. The Jaguars have been cautious with Jones-Drew, eight months removed from his arthroscopic knee surgery. The defense has not looked good in preseason: They had a 47-12 loss at New England, a 15-13 win over Atlanta and an ugly 35-32 OT loss at Buffalo, allowing the anemic Bills 443 yards (153 rushing). Their pass defense was shredded by quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick, who hadn't put a touchdown on the board in their first two preseason games. In the first three preseason games, the Jaguars were the only team to not have sacked an opposing quarterback. Last season the Jaguars had 26 sacks, up from 14 in 2009. Del Rio indicated the Jaguars would like to have more of a deep passing game, but offensive coordinator Dirk Koetter was reluctant to call those plays because the Jaguars weren't executing well in preseason and practice. The Jaguars are 10-2 ATS in their last 12 games in Week 1, though 12-29 ATS in their last 41 games on grass. Probably more smash-mouth football than any wide-open offensive game (the under is 5-1 in the last 6 meetings).
                              Take: Titans
