HIT THE SNOOZE - Jock jumped on this filly's back for the 1st attempt on August 25th. Should be in tune with the horse even better in today's contest. Filly was in versus 'open company' on August 25th and should find this group easier to deal with. Have to make this filly a strong challenger; she comes off a good effort on August 25th. Sophisticated horseplayers will tell you that this thoroughbred has strong speed. Just look at her most recent speed fig, 53. That one looks good in this group.

MACNICK TIME - Trying to beat this horse today at the price of 6/1. MOONSHINE MAMA - Doesn't seem to have enough positive aspects to warrant the value.

CITIZEN JUDY - This horse has the speed, and no one may be able to keep up with her. Ennis drops her down to this level. You don't need too much more knowledge to think this horse is in a good spot at this level. Is ranked number one in earnings per race. A solid effort today can increase the lifetime bankroll. That 63 fig this filly registered in her last event tells me she's a chief player in today's event. ROSATO - The morning line odds on this filly are higher than those of the other entrant from the shedrow of trainer Ennis. Often the longer-priced part of a 'split' entry wins. Moncada rode this mount for the first time last out and comes right back in this race. Ennis is trying the 'shades' on today. Note that this horse worked from the gate in a morning prep, most likely in blinkers. Taking a trip to a lower level; has the class ability to make her presence felt.

BOUTWELL TIME - Can't invest in this steed in today's sprint of 6 1/2 furlongs. Hasn't even finished in the money in a sprint event of late. Didn't let me see any early zip in the route race for me to back her in today's sprint race. Won't be easy for this horse to beat this bunch off of that last speed fig. Unlikely to improve enough to run a figure close to today's class rating, so put her on the likely underpriced equines list. BLUSHING KAM - Doesn't seem to have enough good qualities to warrant the reward. LITTLE BIT O STORM - Finished sixth last time. Would have to move up to hit the board in today's race. Doubtful that this animal can transfer her turf form to the dirt.

Rays righty Zack Littell is coming off five scoreless innings in Baltimore, but he has a 5.37 ERA over 53 2/3 innings of work on the road for the season. Cleveland starter Tanner Bibee, meanwhile, has a 2.76 ERA in his road starts but a 4.54 ERA at home.

The Guardians had scored 16 runs in their past three games before being held to just two runs yesterday. They missed out on some opportunities that could've/should've resulted in runs, and I think they'll be more productive in this one.
