Sunday NFL Free play. My selection is on Los Angeles minus the points over Seattle at 4:25 pm et on Sunday.

This is a smash spot for the Rams as they return off their bye week to face the division-rival Seahawks who will once again be without their best offensive player in DK Metcalf. Seattle showed that its defense can't win all on its own in last week's blowout defeat at the hands of the Bills. The offense just wasn't there and Buffalo was able to bully the Seahawks defense all afternoon long. Now the Rams get a chance to do the same with plus matchups across the board. All indications are that WR Puka Nacua will be able to play despite aggravating his injury at practice on Thursday. Note that Seattle is allowing a whopping 5.3 yards per rush this season. Again, everything should be on the table play-calling wise for the Rams offense. Home field advantage has been virtually non-existent for the Seahawks this season as they've dropped key matchups at home against the Giants, 49ers and aforementioned Bills. The Rams are 0-3 on the road but haven't played away from home since Week 4. They're a much healthier team now than they were in the early stages of the season. Take Los Angeles.

          Dave's Sunday Free Play:

          1* on Minnesota Vikings -5.5 -108

The Key: The Minnesota Vikings opened 5-0 SU & 5-0 ATS before consecutive losses to the Detroit Lions by 2 and the Rams on the road on a short week following that loss to the Lions. The Rams also got their two star receivers back in time for that game, so it's not that bad of a defeat. Now the Vikings have extra time to rest and prepare to beat the Colts this week. They know they will get to face Joe Flacco, and knowing that will make them easier to prepare for. Minnesota's heavy blitz scheme will give Flacco some issues. The Vikings have as good of weapons as any team in the NFL with Jefferson, Addison and Jones plus now they are going to get TJ Hockenson on the field for the first time this season. The Vikings are the superior team on both sides of the football. They have also had their bye already so they are the fresher, healthier team. The Colts haven't had their bye yet and will be playing for a 9th straight week. All of their games seem to go down to the wire too which makes them extra fatigued. I think they finally get blown out here by a hungry, healthier, better Vikings team. Take Minnesota.

            Indianapolis Colts +5.5 (-110)

The move from QB Anthony Richardson to veteran Joe Flacco should provide a spark for the Colts.

            KEY SITUATIONAL ANGLE:

Play ON Regular season non-division teams as long as they're not a larger favorite than -9 if they lost the last matchup against the current opponent despite leading by 13 or more points heading into the 4th quarter. Active on Indianapolis.
11-1 (91.7%) ATS since 10/29/2017, covering the spread by an average of 9.7 points per game.

The game breakdown videos I've done on the WagerTalk YouTube channel are 5-0 the past two weeks. Would be irresponsible to leave this one off!

In all seriousness I think Jameis Winston really struggles against a much better Chargers defense. There are also other injuries working against the Browns here.

Full breakdown in the video below

Play on Chargers -115 for 4% (or 4 units)

                Event:
                (543) Orlando Magic at (544) Dallas Mavericks
                Date/Time:

                Play:
                Total Under 219.0 (-110)

Dallas has won eight of the last ten meetings, including both of last year's contests. The Magic got their first taste of what life is like without Paolo Banchero on Friday in Cleveland, and it was not fun. After scoring a combined 81 points against the Pacers and Bulls earlier in the week, Banchero suffered a torn oblique that will sideline him for over a month. Orlando lost 120-109 in Cleveland after falling behind by 18 in the first quarter. Dallas has not played since Thursday, so the Mavericks should be well-rested for this one. That extra day of rest was probably needed after Kyrie Irving played 43 minutes and Luka Doncic played 38 in Dallas' 108-102 home loss to the Rockets. Doncic is struggling to find his shooting stroke this season. In the Mavs' last three games, Doncic has gone a combined 5-of-24 from three-point range. He's shooting 38.7-percent from the floor this season, which is over eight percent below his career average (46.9-percent). The under is 8-2 in the last ten meetings between these teams, and with Banchero missing, Orlando's best chance for success is to turn this game into a slow grind.

                  Event:
                  (455) New Orleans Saints at (456) Carolina Panthers

                  Play:
                  Carolina Panthers +7.5 (-115)

Admittedly, Carolina is having a tough season. Off five straight losses, the Panthers are 1-7, both SU and ATS. The Saints aren't a whole lot better though; they're 2-6 SU and 3-5 ATS. Remember, they were 2-0 at one point before losing six straight. Even with the expected return of Carr, asking them to lay this many points on the road is asking a lot. The Saints last visit here resulted in a 3-point game. Don't be surprised when this one also proves closer than many will be expecting.
