Race Summary	Today Is the day for WISTUCKY. He worked 5F three times this month to get ready for his return from a nine-month layoff. He finished in the money twice in his first six starts but met 10 next-out winners (average 80 Beyer) and three eventual graded stakes winners. Bet to win and place and play 5-2, 5-4 and 5-6 exactas.

Race Summary	MO SENSE followed the ‘strong 4-wide move’ of the 2-to-1 winner and settled for second after a slow start on a sloppy track at one mile. She is hitting her best stride late in her 3-year-old season and takes a confident class hike off the claim. Bet to win and place.

Churchill Downs - Race #4

#11 VULCAN (6-1)	Can make maximum use of his speed in this spot but has to carry it farther.
#4 APPEAL DENIED (7-2)	Won from close-up the last four times Gaffalione was aboard.
#10 ICEATUDE (9-2)	Had good set-up, rallied 5-wide to win and trigger $2,400-plus 50-cent trifecta.
Race Summary	VULCAN sprinted to a clear lead off the Diodoro claim for a higher claiming price and held third behind sharp repeat winner BRITERDAYZAHEAD (5-13, $206K). He should have no trouble joining the lead group despite drawing post 11, but he will have to carry his speed an extra furlong. The price is right for a win and place bet.

1^st race – (8) Orizzonte has been away since making his debut in March but has been working smartly for his comeback. (5) Wistucky makes his first start since February but should be the main threat. (4) Ahandfulofcandy could benefit from a surface change. (6) Vegas Black Jack is a firster who could contend here. Betting strategy: 8 to win, place. Exacta box: 4-5-6-8.

3rd race – (6) Asian Matriarch was second last time and will be dangerous off the Asmussen claim. (2) Just Like You was claimed by Sharp off a win and figures to be the main rival. (7) Mo Sense makes sense in this field. (8) Motown Mika has early speed and could hang around until the finish. Betting strategy: 6 to win, place. Exacta box: 2-6-7-8.

6th race – (6) Idratherbeblessed (B) missed by nose and can make amends here. (8) Johny’s Fireball returns to turf and will be formidable in this group. (4) Better Bet should be closing quickly in the stretch. (10) Native Shaman looked good taking his first turf start. Betting strategy: 6 to win, place. Exacta box: 4-6-8-10.

10th race – (3) Kehoe Beach comes off two impressive front-running wins and may not look back here. (7) Minoushka won her U.S. debut and should be the main rival. (10) Simply in Front drew a tough post but fits with these. (2) Buchu is due for a better effort after racing in Grade 1 stakes. Betting strategy: 3 to win, place. Exacta box: 2-3-7-10. 11^th race - (9) Cooke Creek has keen early speed and can lead throughout in the Grade 2 Clark Stakes. (6) Hit Show seeks a fourth stakes straight win and is the one to fear. (7) Rattle N Roll should benefit from his comeback race and be more of a factor in this stakes. (3) Crupi could be closing quickly in the stretch. Betting strategy: 9 to win, place. 3^rd race [NY, Md 25000, 6F] – (4) Papa Paulie P set the pace and finished third while racing against open company for a $30,000 tag. The Richard Dutrow barn is red hot at this Aqueduct meeting. (5) One Vision will drop into a maiden claimer after three starts where he showed some early speed and ran second at Saratoga and the blinkers go on. The trainer has good numbers with these moves. (7) Whiskey Frens is also from Dutrow and drops in for a tag for the first time in his second race. (3) Monomoy Beach has plenty of works for his debut.

5^th race [NY, Moc 50000, 6F] – (4) Central Casting (B) got off to a slow start, had to steady, ran greenly while in traffic, and still competed well to get third. (2) Gaga’s Hamsome ran three times with the last two at this level and was third in one of them at Aqueduct in September. (8) Aerialist will make her first start with the $50,000 claiming option since she sold for $100,000 which is more than the $50,000 restriction. (1) Melancia will go in for a tag in her second start after showing some interest three weeks ago.

7^th race [Fall Highweight, 6F] – (6) Runninsonofagun (C) was bet down from 20-1 to 16-1, got bumped and herded out in the stretch, missed by a nose, but got moved up to first through disqualification. (9) Giant Mischief won a top-level allowance at Keeneland for Brad Cox following a 10 month layoff and earned the best speed figure of his career. He was on the Kentucky Derby trail in 2023 running second in the Springboard Mile. (5) Dean Delivers won four stakes races at Mid-Atlantic tracks and was third in the Vosburgh (G3) in September. (7) Witty had two very good allowance wins on the dirt which appears to be his best surface even though most of his recent races are on the turf.

8^th race [Alw 92000, 6F] – (4) Patricia Ann (A) has been off since May when she jumped and tossed her rider but before that was a game second in an allowance in her first try against winners. (1) Sarir and (1A) Gridlock are both win contenders for Linda Rice. (3) Lady Mine was last seen in February winning the top NY-bred allowance but has a couple of victories against open company last year. (2) Patty Brown Eyes broke her maiden at Parx last month with her best speed figure.

Best bets: Papa Paulie P (3^rd); Patricia Ann (8^th). Best value: Central Casting (5^th); Runninsonofagun (7^th).
