We like the Ottawa Senators @ Detroit Red Wings to finish UNDER 6 -120 the total on Tuesday at 7:07pm ET for a number of reasons. Here are some of the more important ones:

Ottawa has seen a lot more UNDER's than OVER's so far this season.

The UNDER is 7-3 over the Senators L10 games overall.

The Sens have also seen the total go UNDER in four of their L5 games played against opponents within the Eastern Conference.

Detroit doesn't score much. On the year, it ranks near the bottom in goals/game.

The Red Wings have seen six goals or less in five of their L7 games.

We think this one goes UNDER six goals.

        Penguins ML -135

Pittsburgh is worthy of a move as they take on Columbus. The Jackets have been a solid fade on the road, going just 4-12-3 so far. They’ve dropped 4 straight games on the road and just don’t look like the same team. Pittsburgh has played a majority of their best hockey at home, winning 7 of their last 8 here. They have the edge with home ice and will come out aggressive. My daily free plays are meant to be cheap bankroll plays. Remember folks, money management is the key to profits when it comes to sports gambling. Strong lean on the Pens ML tonight. You know what to do. Hop ON! Good Luck, Razor Ray.

            Ricky's 1* play on Under 6 Predators/Jets -120

Key Angle: It's important to remember that Ricky never makes a bet on any game based on just one angle. In order to make the grade, all his premium picks must meet several important criteria. He doesn't share all his secrets within his analysis, instead he chooses to reveal only the angle that he feels is the most significant. Here in this game the recent history of these two teams is particularly significant.

            - The Under is 12-6 in Nashville's last 18 games.

            - The Under is 7-3 in Winnipeg's last 10 games against Nashville.

            - The Under is 13-5 in Nashville's last 18 games against an opponent in the Western Conference.

Verdict: Goals should be hard to come by in this game.

              Flames vs Ducks (Tuesday)
5-Unit bet on the Flames priced as a –135-favorite.

The following NHL betting algorithm has produced a highly profitable 90-48 record averaging a -134 wager and earning a 19% ROI since 2019. The requirements are:

Bet on road favorites priced between -125 and -150 on the money line.

Favorite has won no more than one game spanning their previous three games.

The game occurs from January 1 to the end of the regular season.

If they were also favored in their previous game, they have gone 60-28 averaging a -136 wager and producing a 24% ROI including an even better 41-46 using the -1.5 puck line averaging a whopping +176 wager and earning an outstanding 32% ROI.

An optional betting strategy is to place 5.5 units on the money line and 2.5 units using the –1.5 puck line.

                Take the Flames here -127...

Calgary is 18th in scoring chance differential at 5 on 5 in their last 10 games compared to 27th for the Ducks (4.5% advantage). The Flames also have a greater than 6% advantage in Corsi (7.5%), Fenwick, medium danger chances (7.5%), and expected goals. They lost their last game against the Predators a few days ago but were by far the better team at 5 on 5 with 40 scoring chances to 12 (77%). Just a fluke loss. Meanwhile, Anaheim is consistently around 35-40% of the scoring chances at 5 on 5. The Flames also are in a situation where they are a well rested visiting favorite which historically wins 63% of the time with a large sample size. Take the better team in the better spot tonight.

                Good luck!

Tuesday NBA Free play. My selection is on Boston minus the points -5 over Denver at 10 p.m. ET on Tuesday.

Boston comes into this matchup looking to shake off a disappointing loss in Oklahoma City on Sunday, which ended their three-game winning streak. Despite that setback, the Celtics have an excellent opportunity to close out their four-game road trip on a high note against a Denver team that has struggled defensively. Boston's consistent two-way play and ability to dominate on both ends of the floor make them a strong bounce-back candidate in this spot.

Denver needed overtime to secure a win over San Antonio on Saturday after losing to the Spurs the night before. While the Nuggets have been potent offensively, their defense has been a glaring weakness. Denver has allowed seven straight opponents—and 10 of their last 11—to connect on more than 40 field goals, a troubling trend against a Celtics team capable of exploiting defensive lapses. Conversely, Boston's defense has been stout, holding four straight and seven of their last nine opponents to fewer than 40 made field goals.

With Boston's superior defensive prowess and their motivation to close the trip with a victory, the Celtics are well-positioned to handle the Nuggets and cover the spread. Look for Boston's defense to set the tone and their balanced attack to overwhelm Denver.

Take Boston. Projected score: Boston 122, Denver 111.
