SCARECROW - Rider jumped on this colt's back for the first ride on November 29th. Should be in tune with the animal even better today. Delgado, the trainer, shows intent by adding Lasix right here in this race. A positive sign. TANK - Gets help from David with the addition of Lasix. READY FOR PEACE - This colt has been posting some excellent workout times. Faced tougher last time around the track at Keeneland. Based on Equibase class ratings, this is a weaker group, so I will put this thoroughbred on my list of strong contenders. This racer broke from the outside at Keeneland last time out, racing 1 1/16 miles, but is getting a low draw in this race, which should help his chances today.
Vulnerable Contenders: #6 DREAM ON (ML=6/5), #2 GENE AND JUDE (ML=8/1),
DREAM ON - I don't have a positive intuition about this less than sharp equine in this race. GENE AND JUDE - He had to show me more against that weaker field in the last race on Dec 8th to get my support today. Won't be easy for this animal to beat this field off of that last speed fig. Not likely to improve enough to run a figure close to today's class figure, so put him on the likely underlays list.
