The Ravens opened up as an underdog but have moved to the favorite. They won the earlier meeting between the two 35-10. I am looking for a much closer game in this one. It is going to be cold so I see a lot of long sustained drives on the ground. Henry rushed for 199 yards in the first game for the Ravens, with 87 coming on one play. The loss of Flowers will hurt the Ravens ability to stretch the field. The Bills are 9-0 at home, 6-2 in the playoffs under Allen. The Bills didn’t run the ball well against the Ravens in the first game but they were down 21-3 in the first quarter. This is going to be a close game but I think Jackson shakes of the can’t win label and gets the better of Allen in this one.
The Milwaukee Bucks are playing their best basketball of the season right now. They have gone 6-1 SU & 5-2 ATS in their last seven games overall with three straight blowout home wins over the Kings by 15, the Magic by 29 and the Raptors by 18 coming in. Now they should make easy work of a tired, struggling, short-handed Philadelphia 76ers team tonight. The 76ers are 1-6 SU & 0-7 ATS in their last seven games overall. Joel Embiid is out, Paul George is questionable and the 76ers have seven players on the injury report in all. They are coming off a 115-102 loss at Indiana yesterday and will suffer a similar fate against the healthy, surging Bucks today. Give me the Bucks.
The Key: I like the price we are getting on the Brooklyn Nets tonight. The Oklahoma City Thunder are without their 2 big men in Holgrem and Hartenstein. They just lost outright to the Dallas Mavericks 106-98 as 3-point road favorites. Now MVP frontrunner Shai Gilgeous-Alexander is questionable to play tonight with a wrist injury. I wouldn't be surprised if he sat with the thinking that they can beat the Nets without him. But the Nets have been feisty when they have been healthier, and they are healthier right now. They beat the Blazers 132-114 as 3.5-point road dogs 3 games ago and only lost 102-101 as 9.5-point road dogs to the Lakers in their last game. They can hang within this inflated number tonight even if Gilgeous-Alexander gives it a go. Take Brooklyn.
This looks like a good spot to fade the struggling Philadelphia 76ers, who have lost five straight and are 0-7 ATS in their last seven games. Playing on the second night of a back-to-back after a 115-102 loss at Indiana, the Sixers are also dealing with injuries on key players like Joel Embiid and Paul George etc. Meanwhile, the red-hot Milwaukee Bucks are coming off three consecutive blowout wins and should take full advantage of this matchup.
