Pittsburgh Steelers -4 over CINCINNATI BENGALS, 10 dimes
On paper, the Bengals might be the team to beat in the AFC North. But after breaking down their schedule to this point, there isn't much that impresses me. Andy Dalton has been a pleasant surprise, but he hasn't faced a team that is as complete as the Steelers. Pittsburgh owns this series both SU and ATS overall and in Cincinnati. After a SU loss, Pittsburgh always gets down to business next game (6-0 ATS run after a SU loss.) Take the road favorite here.

KANSAS CITY CHIEFS -3 over Denver Broncos, 10 dimes
Last week's loss to the Phish was definitely embarrassing for the Chiefs, but now they get a good matchup to redeem themselves at Arrowhead. Motivation shouldn't be a problem, and I trust in Romeo Crennel's ability to get his defense ready for the shotgun, triple headed rushing threat of Denver. The Chiefs have owned this rivalry at Arrowhead, and we can't forget that this is still a team that's gone 5-1 ATS over its last six. Look for KC to get a bounceback win this week.

New York Giants +3.5 over SAN FRANCISCO 49ERS, 10 dimes
The Niners have been the best bet in all of the league this season, as they have yet to lose a game ATS. So why am I going against them today, at home? Pressure. Pressure from the tenacious pass rushers of NYG, who lead the NFL in sacks. Alex Smith has quietly been managing win after win due to a lot of help from the run game. But today, I expect the Tom Coughlin's disruptive defense to harass Alex Smith and to cause some turnovers. Eli and Co. are fresh off a confidence building win at New England, and now they step into a roll in which they've had much success SU and ATS: The Road Underdog. The fact that we're getting a field goal here is even more appealing.

CHICAGO BEARS -2.5 over Detroit Lions, 10 dimes
The Lions are going to be without Jahvid Best, and that means the Bears defense can pretty much play the pass the entire game. Chicago is hot right now, they're on a 3 game win streak, and it seems to me like they're are improving every week. This Bears are a steal this week at 2.5 or 3.

Cleveland State Vikings +15.5 over VANDERBILT COMMODORES, 10 dimes
The end of a three-game tournament in San Diego, playing three games in three days. Southern Utah had to play a powerhouse San Diego State team in their last game, getting smacked around, but this is a decent squad. They have fine balance with Jackson Stevenett scoring, a play-making guard in Roy Jones (4.5 assists per game) and height/experience up front with 6-6 senior Ramell Taylor and Wade Collie. They beat UC Davis in the opener with a whopping 40-22 rebounding edge (11-3 on the offensive glass). Two players had double-digits in rebounds that game and there is exceptional balance on offense with four players in double-digit scoring. By contrast, Bryant College is a one-man show with 6-6 sophomore Alex Francis (20 points per game), leading in scoring and rebounding. Bryant lacks depth, going with five players yesterday who averaged 31-38 minutes in a win over UC Davis. In two games they've shot just 37%. Meanwhile, by getting blown out by SDSU yesterday, Southern Utah had only
one player top 29 minutes. They will use that advantage, as well as their edges in depth, balance and rebounding today. Play on Southern Utah.
