Speaking of the Turtles, the first movie was by far the best. There's actually an interesting story regarding the second: Parental groups decried the violence, profanity and overall dark tone of the first one and that's why the second one is lighter and more cartoony. It would be interesting to see how the second one would've turned out if the filmmakers had stayed the course.

I'd be down for that. My understanding is that the tone of the original comic was actually pretty dark and serious anyway.

Speaking of short films, I thought this was pretty interesting and gives you a glimpse into low-budget action filmmaking. . .
