I actually thought I was miraculously healed, so I went to bjj last week. It turns out, I wasn't miraculously healed and I popped it again. I have no idea how long it is going to take. I was told there was like a 1% chance it would heal on its own... so I have been delaying surgery. 6 months is not long in terms of dedication, but it is a long time to not have that outlet for me. It is like sex/jerking off ... if you don't get a release after a certain amount of time, you start to get really edgy. I am to the point where I need to beat the hell out of some people or I am going to go nuts. It is something I need to balance out the domesticated life I live. Without grappling, I am a psycho. My wife was begging me to go back to the gym

The answer is elementary, dear Watson. Just beat your wife. I'm sure you can sink in a nice lapel choke with one hand on her. It will provide an outlet and shut her the fuck up too. Problem solved.

I already do that. I smack her around all the time. I beat my kids too, but ut just isn't the same.
