I'm thinking about trying out the 1st 5 inning bets on a consistent basis now, backing the teams with an ace pitcher. That way I won't have to worry about bullpens exploding (like the Angels)...they cost me 3x already this season with that bullpen. brb being up 6-0 then losing 100-6

I think it’s a good system. You should back the home teams, so you always get the last atbat of the 5^th inning.

Hey Ludo, I just watched Into the Abyss. Interesting film. I don't have a problem with capital punishment, though.

I've seen a few of Werner Herzog's other films as well (Grizzly Man, Rescue Dawn, Bad Liutenant: Port of Call New Orleans) and I can't say they are among my favorites, but his stuff is always interesting. I also think it's interesting that he makes both fictional narrative films and documentaries.

I have no problem with capital punishment in theory. In practice, it is pretty fucked up. Having been on a couple of death penalty cases, just the way it is carried out, it really doesn't work right. Mostly- it takes too long, costs too much, and prosecutors abuse it for election purposes.

I thought it was an interesting look into the "other side" of reality in a way. Not reality for someone like you or I, but reality for a group of young, almost homeless/fully homeless drug addicted teenagers and how one bad decision can spiral out of control and ruin several lives forever. It was sad in a way about the one kid scheduled to be executed like 2 weeks from the time he was being interviewed and still holding fast to the claim that he's totally innocent when his DNA was found on cigarette butts were found under one of the bodies.
