I thought it was an interesting look into the "other side" of reality in a way. Not reality for someone like you or I, but reality for a group of young, almost homeless/fully homeless drug addicted teenagers and how one bad decision can spiral out of control and ruin several lives forever. It was sad in a way about the one kid scheduled to be executed like 2 weeks from the time he was being interviewed and still holding fast to the claim that he's totally innocent when his DNA was found on cigarette butts were found under one of the bodies.

Yeah, it was an interesting look into a certain culture, kind of like was the case with The Wild and Wonderful Whites (a documentary you should watch if you haven't seen it).

And yes, it's a reminder that one bad decision can ruin lives--not only yours, but others' as well. That kid seemed clearly guilty to me. Just couldn't admit.

I thought what was most troubling was that after they had stolen the car, from all reports, they were just living life without a care in the world, not at all feeling guilty or ashamed of their actions. Those are the kinds of people in life that really scare me . . . the truly dangerous ones.

Yeah, he kept saying he was 100% innocent but the evidence says otherwise. It's just kind of sad that after ten years on death row with your execution scheduled 2 weeks from the time your being interviewed you still can't be honest and show some remorse. What's funny is that of the three people interviewed the only one owning up to anything is the one who didn't get the death penalty. He won't get out until he's like 50 or something like that but it's just interesting. He's the one who will see the outside world again with the label of "murderer" and the other guy who never has to deal with his peers looking down on him when he's at the grocery store or wherever is claiming total innocence.

This was the worst part of all this. After killing the mother and daughter and dumping one body they waited outside the gate for someone, killed that person, dumped another body, and then stole the car. After that they fucking slept in the car they just killed 3 people to obtain when nobody was supposed to get hurt like it was a loaf of bread they stole and hadn't eaten in days. Those kinds of people need to be separated from the rest of us.
