Yeah, it was an interesting look into a certain culture, kind of like was the case with The Wild and Wonderful Whites (a documentary you should watch if you haven't seen it).
And yes, it's a reminder that one bad decision can ruin lives--not only yours, but others' as well. That kid seemed clearly guilty to me. Just couldn't admit.
I thought what was most troubling was that after they had stolen the car, from all reports, they were just living life without a care in the world, not at all feeling guilty or ashamed of their actions. Those are the kinds of people in life that really scare me . . . the truly dangerous ones.
