I didn't know, I thought Philly hated everyone who leaves. We don't have passionate fans here for Pro Sports. Colts and Pacers are popular when winning, and no one cares when losing. It is not like the east coast where people live and die by the pro teams. When you go to a Colts game, which I usually do every year, you will see a lot of people wearing the other team's jersey, and there is thought that they might get killed in the parking lot or anything. They migh get jeered in a friendly way, but probably not. We just don't have passionate fans. They are more passionate here about college basketball- IU, Purdue, UK. We don't have a strong college football team, so the passion is weak there. You get the occasional Notre Dame nut job, but most of them are a couple hours north.

It was several years ago, I was there for work, trying to close an energy contract. I don't remember the name of the place I stayed, I was there about 5 days, it was right down town. Just a chain hotel down town. Philly has some really neat architecture, that is what I remember.2012: +19.33

Florida fans suck, they only like teams when they were winning. 4 years ago or so all you heard was "Rays suck"....
now somehow they are everybody's favorite team.
Same thing with the Bucs...they only have fans when they are on a 2 game winning streak.
Oh, and the fans at UFC on FX 3 were fucking stupid...I hate them all. Except me, my girlfriend, and the black kid who went alone and ended up sitting right next to me...he would probably be my best friend if he lived in my town.Comment

I'm not even sure what Salt Lake fans are like. A lot of people don't care about the Jazz, but then again, they just don't seem to care about basketball. But a lot of people do care, too. It seems that the people who do care are fans regardless of whether we are winning or losing.
Though I will say that a lot of people are only fans during the playoffs. But I figure that's to be expected regardless of where you are.I heart cockComment

Everyone but you and I seems to love the movie. It is getting pretty good reviews across the board. I dunno, I am with you, I wasn't wowwed. It was ok, but not special IMO.2012: +19.33

Yeah, I was even dozing off during it at 1:00 PM in the afternoon during the action scenes for like 30 seconds at a time. It was nothing different than any other super hero movie. In fact, I kind of agree with X..individual ones seem to be a bit better.Comment

I think Iron Man was definitely better. I think it was probably better than Thor and Hulk. I didn't see Captain America.
I think the new Batman movies are the best super hero movies. I liked the first Spider Man movie too. I actually quit in the middle of Green Lantern last week.
I saw a movie called "I Melt with You" last week, and it was really interesting. I wouldn't say it was a "good" movie, but I was still thinking about it for like 4 days after I watched it.
I also watched "Young Adult" and kind of got a kick out of it, not exactly funny, but I still kind of liked it.2012: +19.33

I was really excited for Watchmen, but it was not exactly what I expected. I never read comic books, but it looked like it was going to be cool. I liked it I guess, but was just a lot different from my expectations.
X-Men series is decent, I liked it better because I was actually familiar with the X-Men because of the 1990's cartoon (even though I was 18 in 1995, I had a little brother that was only 6). I liked the first Spider Man movie too.2012: +19.33
