I watched the first two episodes last night. I'm down. I think this season looks like it's definitely going to be better than last season, which I didn't really get into.

It could be the best season to date if they work it right. Deb is getting on My nerves, again. One thing I'm a little confused on is why they have suddenly had like zero scenes with Harrison in them so far. Almost like they're trying to make you forget Dexter even has a child.

Yeah, I dunno. Maybe they feel like Harrison has already served his purpose and now they're just keeping him around for continuity.

This seemed like it could be a shark-jumping season where the wheels come off, but it's actually turning out pretty good so far. It's a nice uptick from last season, which I thought was the worst of the series.

One thing I've noticed is that we don't really have a villain yet . . . unless game-making, arm-stealing dude whose name I can't remember now is going to step into that role.

In any case, I think they're making the right decision to go ahead and wrap things up. It's time.

Have not started watching the new season. I thought the last season was good though IMO. Worse season IMO was season 3 (or whatever the one with Jimmy Smits was)- just couldn't get into that as much.
