That vid was funny. I always find those vids funny, where a woman hits a man then gets indignant when he hits back. I don't approve of hitting females (or anyone really- I am pretty anti violence), but if you are going to start some stuff, you have to be prepared to deal with some stuff.

That uppercut was nice, but I think that bus driver needs to work on his power. I feel like if I took a free shot on a 130 pound female, she would probably be in the hospital.

Well if you're asking seriously, the answer is obviously not. Culture largely shapes people into who they are.

If you're asking practically, it does seem that being poor shapes at least some people into being pretty worthless members of society.

It is a generalization of course, but I really have very little empathy for poor Americans. I feel really bad for actual poor people, like starving people in Somalia... but I really do not feel any thing for poor Americans (well, except for feeling that they should sack up).

There are exceptions to every rule, but I don't think you'll find too many people who are poor today who used to be wealthy or upper middle class.

I think almost anyone can go to college if they really want to. But the point I was obviously making was about the mentality. If you don't BELIEVE that you can do something . . . then, well, you can't.

You're right, it's all relative. But for Americans in America if you're only making $8.50 an hour or whatever then you're struggling, especially if you have any kind of family to support.

I agree that this is a perspective especially worth remembering when people get tempted to treat the rich like they are evil. There are problems in the system as a whole, but it's silly to try to blame everything on "greed". There are both greedy and generous people in every economic class.
