Well you are going to lose bitch.

Yep, Vinny is a can, he doesn't belong... I am just always leery of betting a favorite when the other guy has a clear out.

I admit that I'm tempted to bet some of these guys at less-than-ideal lines just because it's been so long.

Yeah, I kind of expect Vinny to get stuffed on takedowns, and try to pull guard and get pounded out. But I would not be shocked to see the ADCC HW champion submit Igor (or anyone, he pretty much always has that out).

However, I think Dunham will be able to steal rounds with takedowns of his own. He is a better wrestler (in MMA) then Shane Roller and I feel Dunham will be able to get the decision win in a competitive fight. I can get his at -185 right now, but I'm going to wait to see if it gets better.
The only fight of Grant's that really comes to mind for me is against Carlo Prater and I wasn't particularly impressed. I think Dunham will either outwrestle him or just keep it on the feet and outstrike him.

I can't say I'm particularly shocked. For one, the impression most people Stateside probably have of Vinny is that "he's that guy that got murdered by Bader and lost a decision to Eliot Marshall." I doubt many beyond the hardest of the hard cores have seen any of his M-1 fights.

Igor's been doing pretty good. I really expect him to win this. My one concern, of course, is that he gets caught in a sub.

Pierson seems like he may be one of those dark horses. Sure, he came up short against DHK and Ellenberger, but he pretty much walked through Riddle and Hecht. He might be one of those guys who will lose to the upper echelon but beat most everyone else.

    1. I think Oliviera wins by submission, but I am not as confident as the oddsmakers either. I don't think Swanson wins though.

    2. Agreed, Dunham is tempting. He should have the edge everywhere, I think Grant will keep it close, but Dunham will just be a little better everywhere.

    4. Brenneman or bust.

    5. Who?

    3. If Igor hits -200 I'll probably bet him.

    4. Noke seems like he might be worth a dog bet.

    5. Anyone got a breakdown on Pierson/Benoist?
    1. I think Swanson has a very legit shot at winning. I will be betting him.

    4. I don't think so..I like Brenneman in this one. I don't want to bet him straight, I might parlay him.

I expected -550 to be honest..it's a total mismatch. As long as Hettes doesn't get clipped on his way in, he will be dominate

Yeah, Igor's line is way too steep. I thought it would open around even. Hettes -400 area is about right imo.
