It's going to be interesting to see Glover's gameplan in that fight. I don't think he will be able to ragdoll Rampage and he won't get TDs at will (imo)...the way their striking matches up is also interesting. I think Rampage's boxing is very overrated so I don't think if it's 100% striking he will get the win. Hard fight to call imo ..after Glover's dominating performance last night, I think the line will be even worse for Glover/better for Rampage if the match up does get put together.

Personally with how shitty Rampage has looked lately it isn't crazy to think Glover might actually be able to stop him. Glover hits like a fucking truck and he knows how to pour it on when he smells blood.

It was dominating, but Glover did almost get KTFOd so what happens if Rampage lands clean?

Glover only got hit when he dropped his hands and stood there. He basically let Maldanado land one, and had that fight been stopped when it should have been(like after the 40th elbow from mount) it wouldn't have happened. Fight doctor and ref dropped the ball big time last night.

The point is that we know he doesn't have a rock-hard chin. Do you literally not expect Rampage to land a punch?

As for the fight being stopped, Maldonado was still cognizant of where he was at and what he was doing and he was still mounting both an offense and defense.

Do I expect Rampage to land a punch while Glover's hands are down at his waist because he's getting cute with a guy he just spent over four minutes pummeling into the dirt? No, not really. And Maldanado took the worst and most blatantly late stoppage beating since Joe Warren. At times Maldanado couldn't stand up straight and leaned on the cage while almost tipping over sideways.

If the only punches that resulted in KOs were punches landed under these circumstances then we'd see very few KOs.

Just because Maldonado landed ONE hook when Glover put his hands down being an idiot (he even admitted this in a post fight interview) doesn't mean he was almost KTFO.

But anyways, it's a hard fight for me to pick, but I'd pick Glover.

Well actually he got hit pretty good twice, but obviously I''m not talking about the fact that he got it . . . I'm talking about the shakey leg dance he did after he got hit. Fighters don't do that just cuz, they do it because they just got knocked senseless.

Acting hurt to lure your opponent in definitely works sometimes. I wonder if fighters don't do it more often because of how it looks to the judges.

Probably because of how it looks to the judges and the concern that the ref will think you're in more danger than you really are.
