Yeah but Siver is a german kickboxing champion and he got dropped by Cerrone. I notice that Diaz outstruck Cerrone and Bendo beat Diaz but Bendo outwrestled Diaz. He didn't outstrike him so I feel like thats kinda a moot point. They have both been talking shit about keeping this fight standing and I happen to think that Cerrone is a slightly better striker. It doesn't mean that Pettis can't outstrike him. He definetly can, I just give the edge to Cerrone.

Cerrone also came out and said he felt flat footed in the Diaz fight. He complained that it was his seventh fight in 14 months. Maybe it is a bullshit excuse but I don't know. It sounds like a rough schedule to me.

I think Pettis is a talented and flashy striker with a lot of speed and power. The problem is he hasn't faced a lot of good strikers. Cerrone has 30 muay thai fights and two muay thai titles. I think there is a difference in facing somebody like that because they are technically more sound. Defensively, offensively. I think Cerrone will be harder for Pettis to connect on than Joe Lauzon or Bendo because he has had so many years of experience evading punches and kicks. Alright sorry for rambling on about this but I just wanted to make my point clear. Now watch Pettis jump off the cage and to a spinning Jean Claude Van Damme kick to Cerrones head and win via KO in the first round.

I see where you're coming. That's why the odds are so close, because you could make an argument for either guy.

One ace in Pettis pocket is he's being trained by motherfucking Duke Roufous. Cerrone's not going to throw anything at Pettis that he hasn't seen from Duke.

Pettis just looks so fucking smooth in his open workout

I can't believe we get Cowboy vs Pettis this weekend, and then Aldo vs Edgar the next one.

Pretty sure Wiman's somewhere in the top 20. That was a pretty good win.

            That was cool

Pettis always gets my support because of his TKD background, if for no other reason.

Agreed. It will be close. I am debating betting it. I have to wait for Natal to beat spencer.

Thanks to wiseman for pointing out the lamas bet. Helped me out bigtime.

Good work to Dr Ngo with that Pettis bet. I clearly didn't see that coming. Good Work.

                    Dana's Twitter:

FOTN= Johnson vs Dodson, KO= Pettis, Sub= Bader. All won 50k

I am pretty certain it will happen, but Bendo NEEDS to beat Melendez. Bendo vs Pettis II would make me have a boner.

Ok, so...TJ Grant is for real. I really thought him and Wiman would be a close fight but Grant just made Wiman look silly. I think we will be seeing TJ Grant vs Jim Miller next and I will be betting the shit out of TJ Grant in that fight.

i know dana white promised melendez a fight with benderson but was it signed yet? if they are smart about it, bemderson vs pettis right now is 10x bigger fight than benderson - melendez. i really like grant too. the guy got a great chin, good cardio and ground game. he can still be taken down with a well-timed doubleleg tho (in the dunham fight).
one thing i notice is the guy u have in the avatar picture always ended up winning. have u ever been wrong on that one?
