I bet bendo would beat him in a rematch. He has looked great since then. Guida was able to take pettis down and control him for three rounds. Bendo dominated guida for three rounds. I think bendo would just put a wrestlong clinic on pettis this time.

I mean, that would be two guys in a row who dropped down from LW to get title shots without fighting in the division at all. Where's the respect for the guys who have been working their way up at 145 like you're supposed to do, like KZ and Lamas?

What does he care who he fights? He probably gets a flat salary plus a ppv percentage. Most people probably would rather watch pettis over lamas or kz. Therefore he would likely make more money on that fight. I bet his managers are trying to be smart about this. Pettis could very well have better striking than aldo.

Aldo is probably going to win too and against a big name. imo, he shouldn't be trying to stray away from big named fights in a division where casual fans don't care about/even care about the champ.
