Planet Fitness' business model seems to be people that don't really want to work out, but feel they need to, and $10 a month isn't shit just so you can say you're a gym member and tell yourself you're trying, plus you can go trot on the treadmill twice a month and show up for Planet Fitness pizza night (a real thing, I didn't make that up).

Basically, they want you to pay your fucking monthly fee and never see you again. But if you do show up, we'll make it as easy as possible for you to not actually do anything. It's a big fat-ass solidarity circlejerk. I bet they sit around and masturbate with glazed donuts whinging about how difficult it is to lose weight.

And seriously, what is up with the Lunk Alarm, anyway? I get that you don't want people grunting excessively, etc, blah blah blah, but how is it better to invent this giant, expensive, elaborate contraption to hang on the wall to publicly shame your paying customers instead of just asking them to keep it down? How is that less annoying? I know I certainly don't want some loud alarm going off and interrupting me while I'm jogging at 3mph watching Days of Our Lives. And more importantly, how can you rationalize that with 'Judgement Free' in the very next sentence? Who decided this was a good idea?
