Usually each fight is open to bet on until just a little while before the fight . . . sometimes just a few minutes.

So it's not like the event as a whole is closed down at a certain time.

I hate to run. I was in the army for a little while when I was younger (like 17) and absolutely hated running during basic training. Today, I think I could get to the point of maybe doing a mile without complaining too bad. Anything beyond that just makes me want to die.
