I always go lighter on the dogs in terms of units wagered. But if you were referring to playing the dogs in general, it just worked out that way.

I saw Stephens/Stout as a toss up, so according to my betting philosophy, of course I took him at +167. Cote was coming off of a layoff/injury and also, in my opinion, is not as well rounded as Belcher. So I jumped on Belcher at +125 as soon as he opened. Daley I knew could land that one good shot, but he didn't, so I was wrong on that one. We all know why I bet on Mitrione at +160. As much as I like Kimbo, he's just not a good MMA fighter. For Salter, I was actually tailing you, and Machida I thought would win.

I didn't. Wish I had dumped it on Hendricks. The only 5dimes bet I made was the Salter-Machida parlay, which I lost. Thankfully it was only .25u.

I think he should get one more fight. I mean, not counting his TUF fights, he's win-loss in the UFC. There are plenty of other fighters who are getting more of a chance to prove themselves.

I think the reasons for Kimbo getting cut are as follows: His age, plus his inexperience, his glaring and easily exploited weakness in the knees, and the eye gouging he performed in round one on Mitrione.

Dana did leave himself an out. He only said that this was "probably" Kimbo's last fight in the UFC. So we'll see.

Well if I were Kimbo, I'd want out of MMA right now. This is twice that less than two rounds worth of leg kicks have taken him off his feet. There are easier and less taxing ways to make money for a guy like Kimbo.
