Could be a close one. (I get no end of amusement out of the fact that Bob Sapp beat Ernesto Hoost in K1. Twice.)

I'll give Kimbo the nod over Goodridge though. Of course, Minowa would heel-hook him for sure.

      Re: UFC 113

Yeah, I only mean that in the sense that Bob Sapp today is not the same Bob Sapp that beat Ernesto Hoost or piledrived Nogueira. This guy you punch him a few times and he taps. He's there for a paycheck. Kimbo took 10x the beating against Mitrione that Sapp would be willing to take.

I've never predicted Minowa to beat anyone, but Minowa would beat Kimbo.

LMAO I was reading earlier somewhere (Sherdog or Youtube maybe?) that people were comparing Kimbo's wrestling to GSP's. Don't make me laugh! Kimbo takes down guys who can't defend a shot to save their lives and now he has NCAA level wrestling ?!

Daley full of regret now that he realizes he threw his career away for a glancing blow:

I ran across that yesterday. He knows he fucked up.

I kind of hate that Dana was so strongly worded in saying that Daley would "never" fight again for the UFC because now he can't really go back on it. He should've left himself an out.

Daley will be fine. Strikeforce will probably pick him up. I would really really like to see Daley vs. Diaz @ ww in SF. Like, that would just be awesome.

I'm not worried about Daley. I'm worried about missing out on a lot of awesome matchups. Strikeforce has a few good WWs, but I think the UFC is where Daley belongs right now.

                    Re: UFC 113

^^ I think Daley/Diaz is more compelling than any matchup the UFC can put together. Daley can't beat Fitch. I would like to see Daley/Alves though, that would be nifty.

Daley's punishment should have been to have to fight Jon Fitch. And then Jake Shields.

But realy, I feel like Daley has no shot at the title, anyway. Dana gets to show he can back up all his discipline smack-talk after the Strikeforce debacle, and Strikeforce gets another much needed WW, so it kind of works for everyone.

Agreed. Daley would never be champ, unless he was totally protected on his ascent. Someone with submissions like Shields or Fitch would have finished him off in the first round.

How does everyone think that Machida is going to handle this loss, by the way?

I think his pride is hurt big time. He didn't even stick around to give a post-fight interview, did he? I also think his confidence has taken a beating. I hope he's not thoroughly mind-fucked now.

I hope he gets a few wins, works his way back up, and we get a third fight.

I think he was mentally fucked before the fight. He went from being a boring guy, to a fan favorite, to a guy who was boo'd out of the weigh ins, and boo'd during his entrance. He just looked VERY uncomfortable, especially at the weigh ins. I felt bad for the guy.

Yeah, I noticed all that, too.

Machida had a lot of guys jump on his bandwagon once he started knocking people out, and then the shit with Shogun happened. These fairweather fans are assholes though, and make the illogical jump to blaming Machida for the judges' decision.

Personally, I'm a fan of the Karate Kid win, lose, or draw. I will say that he could've handled himself better after the first Shogun fight, though. Some of the things he said in interviews were poorly worded.
