On a cooler note though, I was placing bets in my 5dimes account while drunk and I accidentally put 10 bucks on Silva to win in the 5th round. No bullshit, I did that. And he won.

Wow. What were the odds on that? IIRC that's only the 4th fight in UFC history to be ended in the 5th round.

13 to 1. I bet 10 and won 130. I put the same bet on Chael to win in R5 and that was 70 to 1. Bet 10 bucks on that.

Well we can disagree like gentlemen then. Performance wise, yes, he clearly deserves a rematch. I just don't think a close fight should mean a rematch... but I hate rematches in general, especially immediate ones. Like I saidm as far as the UFC criteria, who knows?

You should be happy, you won money and your boy JDS looked great.

The only guy that fought tonight that I consider myself a fan of was Hendricks.

Props to Anderson Silva though. He has heart and a pretty good chin. I was talkking with my friend tonight and I said, " who knows what Silvas chin is like, nobody has ever really hit him before". Though he did get KO'd in a boxing match in 1998. His first one ever.

Even though I was rooting for Chael and put a unit on him, I was positive that if Silva won it would be by submission, and @+692 I only put a 0.25u bet on it.

He is not ready for ALves/Fitch/Kos/GSP... I would like to see maybe Story or Hazelett or Lytle. Somebody that it is almost top tier but not quite. IF he wins one more, I would like to see Alves.

Yeah, all that's true, and I'm down with it. I should've bet more on the fights I bet on, but fuck it.

Still, I was really hoping Silva would be dethroned--I mean, REALLY hoping--and to see it be torn away with some bullshit like that? That just sucks.

I did not bet the fight... but as soon as Sonne got the TD, i said, "that's it." That was a tough beat... I would have been steaming hard.

I was actually pulling for Sonnen, because I want Maia to be relevant again. But then he went too far with the trash talk so part of me wanted to see Silva submit him and shove his cereal box bb in his face. So I was really torn.

I have a terrible feeling about the Toney fight. I don't even want to think about Toney winning.

No one can argue that Sonnen was the right bet. Hopefully we will get more info on the alleged rib injury to see just how wrong we were. Even without that, Sonnen was winning the striking exchanges too... it was crazy
