Having a close fight doesnt mean a rematch? Please explain Machida-Shogun II to me then
There really is a difference between a "close fight" and a "bad decision". I think Rua and Penn got rematches because most people think they actually won their fights.
Fuck you. Get the fuck out of here you piece of shit.
You're a straight hating, biased motherfucker. Why don't you go suck some Gracie's dick or something?
Don't cry because Chael STILL can't stop a submission. So he has been triangled in 2 of his last 5 fights.
I was impressed with Chael's hands in the fight... and he was clearly winning... but that's what happens when you can't finish a fight. You give the other guy a long time to figure something out. That's jiu jitsu. Where you (a noob dumbass) sees Chael getting "caught"... I see a guy who keeps making the same mistakes and the outcome was bound to happen. It just happened later in the fight. See Royce vs. Severn 1 for confirmation. Sometimes it takes a minute.
I don't even like Silva.
Its not bias. I hate immediate rematches. I didn't think Shogun should have gotten one either. BJ and Fedor get one because making them work back up is ridiculous.
Also, you're a tiny bitter little pissant aren't you?

Neither Penn-Edgar I or Machida -Shogun were bad decisions . They were both close fights that could have went either way. And since the decisions didnt go the whinny fans way they wanted them to go rematches were called for

Hey, fuck you, faggot!
Oh, and I guess you have to take a little consolation in the only BJJ victory tonight, since there weren't many. . .
The UFC does a lot of weird things... maybe they will give Sonnen a rematch. I think this event did a lot of buys.
Shogun/Machida and Penn/Edgar weren't finishes... and like Svino and Zy said, a lot of people thought they won. I actually thought Machida won, but I do think Penn won (though neither were robberies in my mind).
It was more my opinion (close match does not mean rematch) than what I think the UFC policy is. The UFC policy is to make the most money. I think a rematch will depend on PPV numbers.

?
Well if you're just against them I can deal with that but Zy why crying like a school girl for his man love Shogun to get a rematch and on my card he lost the fight .
As if was Shogun won the rematch and the titel so why shouldnt Sonnen get that chance?
Well I bet, Hallman, Hughes, Fitch, Guida, and Sonnen. I won about 1500 bucks tonight. Awesome night, however I had two crazy parlays tonight that both lost on Sonnen. One 10 dollar parlay that would have won 2000 and one 20 that would have won 900. I lost them all when Chael decided to posture upwards instead of staying chest to chest with Anderson and got triangled. I couldnt believe it, i'm still in shock. I had straight bets on sonnen, I would have won like 3 grand. Hot damn, I did pick all the fights tonight though except for Sonnen. Even the ones I didnt bet. I regret not betting Story, I thought he would win and he was underdog status at +120.
I admit I'm biased on the rematch issue because Vitor is my all-time favorite fighter. The title shot was promised to him, and with the injury, I've been waiting for him to have it for a long time now. I'd be bummed out if he didn't get it.
