Funny moment from last night. First off, Im posting my wifes picks for the fights. She picked 5/6, only one she got wrong was Struve. She does this shit every event...lol

anyway, when Chael got caught in the sub, as soon as Andy locked in the triangle, she was like "What a fuckin idiot!" LOL

She really knows the sport well, and new it was over as soon as it was locked in.

No betting is involved. You just pick every fight on every card, for a certain number of cards, and whoever picked the most fights right at the end is the winner.

Personally I dont link that idea .Since I spend alot of time watching/capping boxing I dont have time to know every unkown fighter in the UFC so theres some fights I litterally know nothing about

Ok I'm back and done being a dick.

Still geeking out about that fight.

I thought GSP would beat Silva before this fight and I still do. Although I think it's a different fight. GSP passes guard better than just about anyone, but once he passes his control leaves a lot to be desired. I think he would have more offense than Chael but also would leave more openings for Anderson to get up by going for submissions and not being as smothering as Chael.

No problem I can see why you dont want a rematch but I just couldnt understand why you didnt give my arguement any merit at all but no big deal we all look at things different



The only thing I question about GSP now is his size .He's much smaller than Chael so I dont know if that would hurt him at all.

I'm still sticking with my GSP pick. Too bad GSP would be the favorite right now instead of a decent dog

This is my concern as well. He'd need to put a little more muscle on. With that said, I want to see this fight now more than ever.

Yeah I saw that .I cant see him being any good at 185 though. He should have laid off the roids because now he's too big for 170 and too small for 185

I think the UFC has enough weight classes that any fighter ought to be able to fit into one effectively, especially with a good nutrition coach. I don't think there's anyone who is really lost in the gaps as an athlete.

Speaking of switching weight classes: How bad does Jake Shields wish he stayed at Middleweight? I think we have to agree, him beating Anderson is way more plausible than him beating GSP.

^^ unless it turns out that Anderson was badly injured (which I personally think he was legitimately injured and it effected him in the fight) I think Jake would beat him.

I really liked the way he answered the questions. I thought he was a moron before the fight, Im starting to like him. I think a Tuf show with Silva/Sonnen would be pretty good.

I hated him too but in the last few days before the fight I came around too.

I saw people asking for Silva-Sonnen to be TUF 13 coaches .I hate TUF so I wouldnt like it plus that would drag out a rematch that much longer
