There is definitely value. If silva wins i see it coming by strikes leading to a sub or just strikes.

I would love just to bet Anderson and walk away but after seeing how mentally unstable he is inside the octagon and at this level any small mental problem can lose you the fight.

True but most boxers don't have someone like Dana White sitting cage side shooting lasers out of his eyes. I honestly thought Dana wanted to murder Anderson after the fight.

^^ he just ran away from Maia the whole time. Maia finally gave up on the takedown and just started charging him with punches, but Anderson would't trade with him.

He said after the fight he got hurt once by Maia's punch and that he didn't want to risk it. I can understand that... but if you are going to do all that taunting, you better be willing to stand and box when the other guy just says screw it and starts winging punches.

I don't think Anderson cares what Dana thinks. He is the best fighter in the world, and he has as much leverage as the the UFC. He wants to retire anyway and he is Brazilian. I am actually pretty surprised one of these guys hasn't punched Dana in his gay poser head.

I never really thought there was anything too crazy or mysterious about Silva's behavior in that fight. Maia was being pretty timid in the first half of the fight, while Anderson taunted him. In the second half, Maia decided to be a little more aggressive, but by that point, it was too late: Silva just could evade him and pick up the decision.

Even before the fight happened, I was saying that Maia's best friend in that fight might be the wrath of Dana White, if fear of Dana might make Silva engage and get taken down. Turns out that Anderson doesn't care about pissing off Dana, though.
