Carwin was off a year layoff when he destroyed Mir

Lesnar was off a year layoff when he beat Carwin


I'd say its alot closer to 50% than people think but I could be wrong or maybe it just doest apply yo HW"s

Well as far as the actual judging went, 2 out of 3 had Stann winning the first, and all 3 gave him the 2nd.

Seems like a fight we need to see.

No they do count but my point is that the fight between Carwin and mir was lopsided to begin with. If you have one guy that is much more likely to win to begin with the layoff doesn't affect him as much. Anderson silva could have a long layoff, which would affect him huge against Chael Sonnen..but if he was fighting Matt Riddle it wouldn't matter as much.

Brock's layoff probably did affect him as well. He did come very close to getting TKO'd in the first round.

Ellenberger: 3u to win 2u

I'm on the fence with the Okami/Munoz fight.

Okami prob has more technical stand up but I think might lack the power to put munoz away there. Though we did see KEndall Grove almost do the job.

Let's say Okami can't hurt Munoz much on the feet..well then munoz can let those ridic hard hands fly..I don't know if that works out though. Kendall only has to wins via ko..that doesn't necessarily mean he cant ko many people becayuse subs are prob his bread and butter but who knows..

Wrestling adv goes to munoz but Okami has way more wrestling exp in MMA. I also read that Okami competed in ADCC and lost to matt lindland in 2003. I figure if he got an invite to ADCC he must be somewhat decent a grappler so yes he could def sub munoz.

I think the lines are about where they should be..Can anyone else offer their 2 cents on this?

^^We are firmly divided on Munoz/Okami. I think more are with Okami. I think the fight is about 50%, giving value to Munoz, which is why I bet it.

Go back a few pages and we discussed it at lenghth with just about everyone weighing in
