That's correct. Due to a number of factors, especially living downtown where nearly everything I need is close by, I've been making it on public transportation and the power of walking.

I would like to get a car, though. I just can't afford it right now. Hopefully my finances will improve dramatically within the foreseeable future and I can do something.

Well living in a big town makes all the difference .I dont live in a big city or even near one for that matter. We dont have buses or anything else so a car is a must here. I forget sometimes people in big cities dont have cars which is very weird to me just because I've never seen it before


At least you dont have to pay 1200 dollars to get an inspection like Zak lol

This is all very strange, not that this kind of game Zuffa seems to be playing is new idea in politics. I suppose it's safer to buy off both sides than just one, but it does seem like Zuffa is funding or producing ads that go in exactly opposite directions. I wonder if they pulled the ad because someone in Reid's office called to complain or to threaten them.

My guess is they are just supporting whoever promises to help them. Who knows why they pulled it though. I doubt a high profile politician like Reid would threaten for supporting the other side though, it is not worth the risk to them.

I absolutely hate politics now.

I think I get it now, actually - the first story I read mislead me into thinking Zuffa was originally responsible for the ad somehow, but they weren't. Zuffa unabashedly supports Reid:

Angle ran an ad against Reid that must have used a photo taken by a Zuffa photographer (to prove that Reid hangs out with models and big muckety-mucks, not salt-of-the-earth folks).

Then, either on their own or because they were prompted to by Reid's campaign, Zuffa then used that as an excuse to file a copyright violation claim and make YouTube pull the ad.

I think what's weird about Sokoudjou is that we ever thought he was any good. I used to, but looking back on his career, his only accomplishments are like one win over a very post-prime Ricardo Arona and one lucky punch against Little Nog. He can fight OK for a few minutes though, I'll give him that.
