That should hit. I looked at Straus again... he has really strong takedowns. I hope Karen can get up, because I think Straus is going to put him on his back. Regretting the bet now.
I guess you could hedge out if you wanted to. You'd take a hit, though, unless the line moves.
I set my general "puncher's chance" on any given fight @ about 15-20%. So that is where I put Houston. He can only win by lucky flailing punch. But then again, Sok takes dives, so who knows.
What do you guys think about Larson vs. Saffiedine? Is Strikeforce overhyping Saffiedine? There's been strong line movement in his direction and I've been thinking of betting Larson. Larson really hasn't been fighting good guys lately though, look at this dude:
I thought about Larson in the beginning, but then backed out of it. Larson has only lost to real badasses though. At the time his losses to Foster and Pierce were enough to get him booted from the UFC, but as it turns out, they are both pretty good. Larson has some very solid wins to his credit, so I don't think we can discredit him because he has been can smashing lately (Carlo Prater is good, Alessio is good, Pyle).
I watched Tarec against Terry. He got taken down pretty easily by Terry in Round 1, and his ground game doesnt look all that dynamic.
he did stuff Nate Moore several times and Moore is a D1 wrester. But that was after he wobbled Moore with a punch and Moore was just desperation shooting.
I think you might be right here. Larson is going to gorilla him
