I still don't get how newbies with records like 1-0 and mediocre fighters with records like 4-5 are getting onto Strikeforce cards.

They are local fighters brought in to help sell tickets is my guess

Hmm, that makes sense. I haven't considered that.

They need to get more women on their cards. Granted, they're doing more for women's MMA than just about any other promotion right now, but when you really look at the cards almost every female fight is a title fight. Why not put some contender fights on, too?

Yeah Lawlor will probably win. He might even be a good bet. He has power in his hands. The only way I can see Lindland winning is some sort of clinch game..I don't know if he can play that effectively with Lawlor..
