I think Mackens is one of the best bets on the card. He held his own with Cub Swanson in a very close fight where he showed a good all around game. If he can hang with a veteran like swanson he should dispose of Caceres pretty quickly. Add in it's Caceres's first time in the big show and personally he really didn't look all that good on the show if you ask me.

The only reason the line isn't -300 or worse is because mackens has lost 3 in a row but they've all been to way better competition than anyone Alex has faced. They're on different levels and i think it will show in the fight.

If anyone missed the swanson fight I was able to find some of it here, but be warned my Anti Virus identified a trojan while I was watching the video so I wouldn't click it at work or anything. That could also be from all the porn I download though. http://mmafightvideosonline.blogspot...ier-fight.html

^^ pretty much ny thoughts exactly. There is always teh chance that Caceres comes out massively improved, but IMO Mackens should blow through via being superior in every way. This is also Caceres' first cut to FW. He might be huge, but he might gas out.

        Anyway, sold.

        3u on Mackens @ -220

Yeah I do have that worry as well Scientist, guys seem to come off TUF and look way better than they did on the show, but Caceres has also had a long lay off. I'm on it for 5u @ -220

amir-damarques goes the distance might be worth a bet. -185 though. I'd rather have plus odds on that.

What's the deal with Johny Hendricks in this fight, Scientist? I haven't heard a peep out of you.

I don't know anything about Waldburger, and I haven't had a chance to look at it yet. But Hendricks will get it done unless Waldburger is a freak talent.

Ok, had a chance to look at Hendricks/Waldburger.

Hendricks is a lock. Waldburger is basically a submissions guy. 10 of his 13 wins have come by submission. But Hendricks has very good submission defense, here is a video of Hendricks getting owned by jj black belt Cameron Diffley (but not subbed): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hj7qgnJOl2g

But none of that should matter, because Waldburger can't take Hendricks down. Hendricks should force a stand up fight here and mix in a few takedowns and win a decision or tko. Waldburger's only realistic out here is a submission from his back, but watching him fight, he is no Cameron Diffley, it isn't going to happen. Here he is against Spratt: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GyN0sEL0rLw

Bottom line, barring a freak occurence this is a gimme fight for Hendricks.

Don't listen to me, I am barely above even for the year. I don't know what the hell I am saying half of the time.

I don't think so, but you never can tell. If he gets Nog down and pins him really well, he could get an arm triangle or some sort of kimura. I would be surprised, but not shocked. If it means anything, "not Davis by sub" is not something I am considering for my magic parlay.

Lil nog is not the grappler that his brother is.
