I am not saying it wasn't impressive to win the fight. A lot of people were saying Davis might be the guy to defeat Jones... I just don't think that is going to happen. Jones has better wrestling in MMA and much better striking. I would take Davis to beat Shogun at this point, but I wouldn't bet either man as a favorite... but it hard to tell, because Shogun gassed out after 2 or 3 minutes with Jones. It could have been the lay off, he seems to look a lot better in the 2nd fight after a layoff.2012: +19.33

I think Shogun 'gassed' due to the knee to the liver, head kick, straight left combo he ate while standing up, all of which landed completely flush and wouldve felled most mortals. Not to mention the flying knee at the beginning of the fight that also landed flush. Getting your ass kicked is tiring. Notice he came out a bit faster and fresher in the 2nd round.Triple-six killers in this motherfucker runnin shitComment

Now that I've thought about it Rumble had one of the best performances I've ever seen for someone that hadnt fought in 5 years, started training camp at 378, and weighed 255 the day after weighing in at 171

He is pretty good. He has a page with a bunch of videos. I watched two of them. He gets it right a pretty good amount of time and he sounds like he knows a lot about MMA. The Hathaway fight was pretty close though, I thought Mccray might give him trouble. Hathaway really isn't an uber wrestler stopper, if Mccray hadn't gassed he could of easily won that fight.1 unit = 300 $Comment

^ yeah we was definitely on the "wrong" side of the line in that fight... but that is going to happen. For every one of those, you will lose one where you are on the "right" side of the line.
I am not going to copy the guy's plays or anything, but if he is going to the effort to put it out there for free, and it is at least passable quality, I think he deserves some credit when he wins. I have several sources I like to "check" before making a play. I often ignore them, but I still like to hear what people have to say. That is why I come here, to get other perspectives. Well, that and for the witty repartee.2012: +19.33

Where did you find him picking those two? I suscribe to him on youtube and I follow him on twitter, Maybe I missed them? He use to do more prediction videos than he does nowdays.
Like everybody, he's not always right.....He had Shogun over Bones but he does break down the fights and I enjoy listening to breakdowns vs. reading them when I can. EBWReturns is good too.....Comment

^^ usually just the SD and BE breakdowns anymore, sometimes if I am on the fence, I will just google "Davis Nogeira breakdown" or something. These independent guys come and go. Everyone jumps off the bandwagon as soon as there is a dip. Losing streaks can and do last for months at a time, but most people (self included) don't have the faith to stick to the plan during all of that, much less stick by someone else while they lose for months on end. I don't really look for bet breakdowns, just fight breakdowns. I make my own bet decisions and that is not really going to be influenced by anyone else... but I am open to how other see a fight going down.2012: +19.33
