I think its just his back. The text said "he just cant stand up yet" so I'm guessing that's why he headed to the hospital

Taktarov did it to Ernie Verdicia in UFC 5 and Coleman did it to both Julian Sanchez and Dan Severn, at UFCs 11 and 12.

As for the "choke" it just looks like an arm triangle choke that wasnt completely executed correctly .
