A couple months ago Dana was saying he is almost out of goodwill and he (Bisping) is going to be punished... blah blah. I am just getting sick of the whole WWE schtick where persona means more than actual ability. It has been this way for a couple years, but it seems to be getting more blatant. I have honestly considered just walking away from the sport. I am just tired of it.

As for the WWE-ness, if you keep winning then you'll eventually get your shot. Machida had to win like a million fights in a row to fight Rashad, but eventually Dana had to acknowledge him.

Beyond that, I actually kind of like the theatrics. Keeps the mood fun. Walking away seems silly.

Well that brings up the argument about whether finishing a fight should have anything to do with getting a title shot. Finishing is about excitement. Shouldn't winning be all that matters?

Well to say that entertainment has nothing to do with the overall package would be absurd. Why do you think Jon Fitch hasn't gotten a second shot at the belt? Motherfucker has lost one fight since 2002 and it was to one of, or possibly the best fighter on the planet yet five straight wins and a draw later he's still not even being talked about as number one contender.

100% agree with what you're saying .Look at Tito ,the guy hasnt won a fight in 5 years, he's 0-4-1 in his last 5 fights but still has a job while others get cut
