Hey, X, how do you go about that whole justanswer.com thing? I'm thinking of trying My hand for some extra cash during the day.

You can just go to justanswer.com and apply down at the bottom where it says Become An Expert.

But I don't think they're accepting new experts right now. There are plenty as it is. Also, you have to have some kind of verifiable credentials, whether that be a degree, an A+ certification, or (I think) two years of employment experience.

I'd have to say that, for the most part, that's not really my kind of thing. I probably listened to more stuff like that when I was younger. Probably the closest that I come now would be Devil Driver. I also listen to a little Otep every once in a while and some Arch Enemy, but that's not on the regular.

The Amon Amarth song started out well, but as soon as dude started singing I was like, "Nope." The Gama Bomb song was interesting . . . kind of reminded me of some old Suicidal Tendencies stuff. The Evile song was okay.

Generally speaking, I don't really get down with music where they just scream or growl the whole song. I don't understand why they can't just sing like normal people. I mean, old-school metal legends like Metallica, Megadeth and Judas Priest all valued clean vocals. That's not to say that it's not okay sometimes . . . I mean, I like Killswitch Engage a lot and that dude likes to get crazy sometimes, but he also mixes it up a lot.

I also don't really get into music where they make it a point to have major themes in their music about Satan and evil and shit. I'm not a Christian anymore, but when I hear that I'm still kind of like WTF.

But some of it was kind of cool, like I said.

I would post some of my own shit, but it's gonna get ripped apart if I do so I will pass.
